year with the London Knights. Now, he has his sights set on another
title, this time with the Hamilton Bulldogs. We go one on one with
World JR Gold Medalist, Robert Thomas.
Rest or Rust? The Regina Pats bowed out of the first round of the WHL
playoffs. But now? They’re getting ready to host the Mastercard
Memorial Cup. We go one on one with Pats head coach and GM and former
NHL benchboss, John Paddock.
NHL Central Scouting has released their final rankings! We know Rasmus
Dahlin is the surefire 1st overall pick, but who has the best chance to
go 2nd?? We’ll discuss that and much more with the man behind the list,
Dan Marr.
In the 27 year history of Junior Hockey Magazine, this was our most
difficult, but profound, show to produce. This week, we look back at
the players and team staff who lost their lives in the tragic accident
involving the Humboldt Broncos team bus. We honour their lives &
legacy, and look at the heartfelt response from the hockey community,
and from all Canadians across our great country, in light of this
terrible tragedy.
He’s the sixth rated Canadian forward for the NHL Draft and is already
drawing comparisons to Jonathan Toews! We go one on one with Halifax
Mooseheads forward Benoit-Olivier Groulx.
Family ties - his father played two seasons in the ‘Dub and starred in
both of the ‘Goon’ movies! We go one on one with Moose Jaw Warriors
D-man Jett Woo, the 5th rated Canadian blueliner for the NHL Draft.
Not only is he a projected top 20 pick this June, he’s been in a movie,
fast tracked through high school and help runs a company! We go one on
one with Niagara Ice Dogs sniper Akil Thomas, one of the most
impressive kids in this year’s NHL Draft class.
His brother Michael was picked by the New Jersey Devils 12th overall in
2016. Now, he’s trying to follow in his footsteps. We go one on one
with Mississauga Steelheads top prospect, Ryan McLeod.
He’s the fourth rated North American blueliner for the NHL Draft and
many believe he could be one of the first 20 names called this June. We
go one on one with Halifax Mooseheads D-man, Jared McIsaac.
He’s the top rated WHL player for the NHL Draft and is coming off an
unbelievable SEVEN point performance last week! We go one on one with
Spokane Chiefs D-man, Ty Smith.
He’s the second rated Canadian blueliner for the NHL Draft and scouts
are already calling him the ‘complete package!’ We go one on one with
Acadie-Bathurst Titan D-man Noah Dobson.
He’s one of the most talented blueliners available in this year’s draft
class and many believe he can go in the top 15 of this June’s NHL
Draft. We go one on one with Ryan Merkley of the Guelph Storm.
He’s the second rated Canadian skater heading in to the NHL Draft and
he’s already drawing comparisons to Patrice Bergeron! We go one on one
