We chat about of knitting, swatching, dyeing and gauge — and fountain pens and stationery (two of Amanda's favorite things). Then...we discuss Venessa's voyage into Amanda's yarn room‚ newly dubbed The Dobson Home for Wayward and Orphaned Projects. Also: barbeque and watermelon margaritas. Yum!
New colorways in the works, on new yarn bases. SO EXCITED!

Stitches South was a blast and we had such a good time that we couldn't cover it in one episode. It's just too much for one day, and certainly can't be boiled down to one hour. We can't wait for next year. This episode doesn't include the Pre-Pajama Party Interview but hopefully the next one will. Links below...

Such gorgeous things at Retromantic Fripperies. One of the most visually appealing booths at Stitches.

We had only a few minutes so this episode is brief, but fun. Amanda's Old Forge is back in the game, and stash building and organizing is on our minds. We love our Signature needles, but the cable is a little bothersome to Venessa. Joji Locatelli's Opposite Pole is also a hot topic.Links:Pilot Vanishing Point shown at Goulet Pens, Amanda's favorite pen source.Old Forge by Stephen West a beautiful circular blanket.Stash Building blog post by Amanda and Venessa.Signature Needles, an American made luxury.Chiao Goo, Chinese needles with some mighty fine cables.Color Affection by Veera Välimäki.Opposite Pole by Joji Locatelli.Bee Keepers Quilt by Tiny Owl Knits, the way to use up leftover sock yarn for the rest of your life.
In this episode recorded Monday, January 12, we discussed all kinds of things, from nupps to Swamp Pop, back to Mo Rocca and jazz.
