Welcome to Motherhood Revival, a podcast for mom's who just need a little motivation, inspiration, and love(or to here another adult voice in the car). Today's episode is a mini series within the podcast that discusses and focuses on topics taken from social media, pop-culture, or things that I have felt impressed to share from personal experience or otherwise. My hope is that these episodes will be shorter nuggets of information and love. In today's Take What You Need episode, I will be sharing my thoughts and feelings on self-care and self-love. We talk about what self-care means to me and how it looks different from self-love. We will also discuss what my thoughts are on how we can show ourselves self-love and the three actionable steps I feel we need to take to start on a self-love journey. If you leave this episode feeling inspired, please share your takeaways on Instagram and tag me @motherhoodrevival so I can check it out! There is nothing I would love more than to know you're enjoying the podcast and getting something out of it! In this episode of Motherhood Revival, we're chatting with Leah Longueville of @PolishedPrints. Leah shares with us about the experiences that lead her to leave her job and start her own business. She gives the details of how even though she didn't have experience in creating t-shirts or running a shop, she was able to find not only success and an audience, but create a community and connect with others. Leah also talks about how having a life of balance as a mom and business owner is so important, but can also be so hard to achieve. We discuss how social media can come into play as we talk about the importance of using it for business, but also how it can be a distraction from the more important things in life.
