After your 3 you can reserve each additional fast pass one at a time.- Use the my disney app to look for restroom by filtering the map to just restrooms. Here’s a pro tip always use the restrooms that are close to less popular rides so you can avoid lines!!- Bring extra emergency gear like swimsuits, clothes, water, mobile chargers, shoes/sneakers, band aids, Tylenol, snacks, games/apps, Listen to my podcast while online so you dont forget these tips and tricks. **Try New Things** for instance you can play mini golf at fantasia gardens, visit the void(disney springs) which is a VR Experience unlike any other and fun, rent a boat/water ski/jet ski on the seven seas lagoon, visit ESPN’s wide world of sports, etc.Be proactive with your trip and request things well in advance like your room, food, activities, etc. I mentioned before that you can have amazon prime deliver products to your room either in advance or while your there.

Episode 38: Highlights•Keep in mind that based on the time of year, hours of operation can vary dramatically especially if there is a new land(star wars), seasonal events, weather, etc. So generally all four parks operate from 9am to 9pm. However, these times could change so make sure to call ahead and find more information regarding operating hours, ride closures, etc.•Disney’s Blizzard Beach is going thru a major refurbishment which started on Sept. 8 will continue thru the early part of 2020 but that’s not a surprise because both water parks usually stay closed for the good part of fall as well as winter.•Disney Springs is a great family entertainment area filled with shops, movie theaters, restaurants, and bars. The best part is that it stays open until midnight so in case you need another option because the parks are closed due to acts of god/nature. Then, you can head to Disney Springs and still have a great time.•Special events like Halloween or Christmas can affect park times so plan ahead in terms of going to the other parks on the days where events are happening. •If you’re staying at an onsite Disney resort, make sure to check with the front desk and find out about extra magic hours as well as extra extra magic hours because that could pay off huge dividends in terms of more time on the rides. For instance, Hollywood studios will be open for resort guests( Sept 1- Nov 2nd) at 6am, Magic and Animal kingdom will open at 7am.•You can book dining reservations in advance( for specific events of course) online instead of over the phone. You can book 180 days ahead for things like the harmony haircut shop, the pirates league, etc.•Hollywood studios has new fast tiers which means the most popular rides are considered tier 1 and you only get one fast pass per ride. So, things like shows or star tours will be tier 2 or 3.•New Ride construction is happening everywhere because of the fast approaching Disney 50th anniversary. New resorts are opening soon like the Riviera which opens December 16th, the star wars galactic cruiser.•The Skyliner will be opening sept 29 and it will connect all the value resorts with Hollywood studios and epcot. Finally, there will be more hydration stations around all the parks. •Pro tip: you can always order your snacks(water too) from amazon and have them delivered to your room.•Pro tip: make sure you call up and make your room requests before your even begins!!(usually 5 days in advance) For instance, accessibility issues, location of room within what’s important to you like the lobby or somewhere a little more quiet, intimate, etc.•Pro tip: Always ask about upgrades because in case you cant get a room in a specific area that you want at least you can get it thru an upgrade. For instance, at animal kingdom lodge, the savannah view rooms is where you can view the animals so you would need to upgrade in case you cant get it thru a request.•Build Rapport!! In other words, when you call up the resort, build rapport and carry on a conversation with the person on the other line sweet talking them goes a long with Disney staff. Plus, when you get there you must tip well( im not saying slip them fat bills all at once) 10 dollars here, 25 there, etc. because it goes a long way.•Take care of rentals ahead of time especially things like strollers because there are several renting companies that have ongoing agreements with Disney. So, you can do pick up as well as drop off strollers at guest services in park or at the resort without missing a beat. You can check with Disney so they can provide you with the contact info of said companies and they provide early bird discounts on rentals if you book in advance. Now, there are other companies that let you rent wheel chairs as well as scooters which allow you to pick up and drop off from the resort or parks.•Know height requirements as well as ride restrictions before your trip starts.•Set up your my Disney experience in advance from dining reservations to fast passes so you can plan everything out without any hiccups. As a pro tip, start setting up your fast passes from the last day of your trip all the way back to your first trip because your working against the crowd and there tends be more slots by setting it up that way.•Go against the Crowds (remember the crowd mentality rule from previous posts).•Go to the park super early then chill out at the resort and do some activities. In other words, take a break while everyone else(the crowds) is suffering on long line. Then, head to the later on after dinner time or at night when the crowds start leaving so you can enjoy the park but with way less people and hassle.•Use technology to your advantage when it comes to weather alerts/updates because wait times to tend to drop dramatically after a florida shower so have those ponchos handy especially if your in the parks during summer. You can also skip long lines by using mobile ordering on your phone( this applies to quick service mostly). Finally, make sure to monitor those wait times while in park and take advantage of those single rider lines because they tend me shorter than the regular lines.
On This week’s episode of The Peaceful Thrill Seeker show, we will discuss what you need to know before going to HHN 29 from how to explore the houses twice to avoiding crowds. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Review•If you love candy, Disney characters, and Halloween you will love this event (which is located in Magic Kingdom) because it is a giant Trick R’ Treat candy run/buffet course filled with character meet and greets, delicious candy, an amazing parade, and a fireworks show.•The event runs on select dates from August 16 thru November 1, 2019. In September, the dates are 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29. In October, the dates are 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31. Finally, the last day for the event is November 1st.•Located throughout the course you will find large pilons that are marked as “treats” which lead you to a trail where candy stations are present so you can grab skittles, m&m’s, etc. they also have gold chocolate coins as well. Additionally, there are designated food and beverage stations where you can have milk shakes, cupcakes, non alcoholic tropical drinks, etc.• Now you can meet the following characters at various points throughout the park: Moana, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy, most of the Aladdin characters, pirates of the Caribbean, nightmare before Christmas characters, etc.•The Boo too you parade is awesome but remember to watch the (11:15pm) parade from frontier land so you can avoid the crowds on main street. Now, the fireworks show which is only at 10:15pm which is located in front of the castle so unfortunately there’s no later show which means get a spot early before it starts.•Now if you really love this event, for about 300 dollars Disney is offering a season pass where you can go to all the event days which pays for itself with the amount of candy they give out that you can re up on candy and re distribute it on Halloween night for all your fellow neighbors to enjoy!!•This event also offers allergy friendly snacks for those who cant’ eat regular sweets!!! •Remember to go against the crowd by running the course in reverse that way you get more candy faster!!!•Try to purchase your tickets online instead of at the park because you can benefit not only when you can go but also how much you can save.•Now keep in mind that you are encouraged to dress up but there are restrictions like no masks, long capes, weapons/pointy objects, and wearing layers is strongly discouraged for obvious reasons.•Since the party officially begins at 7pm, guests are allowed to come in at 4pm.•Bring your own bag because you can unlimited amounts of candy!!!!•The Berry Blaster( A.K.A Blueberry Sprite) is to die for trust me you’ll thanks me later. That drink is located at Cosmic Rays which they also have the lots-o-burger oh so good!!!• There are no fast passes during the event so if you really want to ride seven dwarfs you can either ride while everyone else is watching the parade or fireworks; option #2 come early like at 4pm and ride it before the event starts.

So without further a due, let’s jump right into it shall we? There are 41 select event nights from Sept 6 thru Nov 2, 2019. Some of the busy nights will end at 2am but most nights end at 1am. There are AP nights where AP holders get one night free admission and those nights are:Sept.- 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, Oct.- 2, 9, 23, 29, 30Nov.- 1Now with that being said, there are 10 haunted houses and 5 scare zones for this year and they are the following:•Ghostbusters (not scary) Located by Rip Ride Rockit•Yeti: Terror of the Yukon (Very Scary) Located in Bandshell•Jordan Peele’s US (50/50 Scary) Located by Jimmy Fallon ride•Stranger Things (50/50 Scary) Located by Jimmy Fallon ride•House of 1000 Corpses (Very Scary) Located by MIB•Depths of fear (Not Scary) Located by MIB•Nightingales: Blood Pit (50/50 Scary) Located by MIB•Universal Monsters (50/50 Scary) Located in Kids Zone•Graveyard Games (Somewhat Scary) Located in Kids Zone•Killer Klowns from Outer Space (Coolest House) Located in HollywoodScare Zones are the following:•Anarch-cade Located in between shrek 4d and minions ride•Zombieland: Double Tap Located in New York•Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe Located in front of Fast and Furious ride exit•Vikings Undead Located on south east side of the lagoon•Vanity Ball Located in Hollywood think plastic surgery gone wrong and five and dime scare plasmare blood booth and meta morph booth•Now in terms of live entertainment there are a couple of options first the academy of villains which was fantastic and the new marathon of mayhem water show which was amazing but I would do that stuff for dead last because your number one priority is to finish all the houses as well as scare zones. The other stuff is just for crowd control so keep your eye on the prize which is houses first, scare zones second, shows third, eating last.Survival Tips for HHN 29•Show up Early especially if you’re an AP holder *Very Important*•Bring supplies like water, sun hat, sunglasses, mobile charger, poncho, etc.•Eat before or after the event•Buy an express pass for busy days •Start in the back of the park (think crowd mentality)•Do not ride any of the attractions that are open during the day( for obvious reasons)• Stick around for the entire event especially for line purposes•Scare Zones are meant to be fun photo ops, social media ops, they are not scary at all so treat them as such.

On This week’s episode of The Peaceful Thrill Seeker Podcast, we will discuss what you need to know before going to the Disney Parks from how to ride twice on a ride to avoiding crowds. Plus, I will discuss the latest and greatest in the theme park universe from Universal to Seaworld!! If you want to submit your Questions, comments, etc. Click on the link below: https://www.peacefulthrillseeker.com/submit-your-question/Disney tips & tricks1.The bounce back offer which is only offered to those who already on property looking to rebook for a later time can be very valuable because they can offer you benefits that may not be available to the general public like free dining plans, room discounts, etc. now keep in mind that you must book before 10pm of check out day which you can always cancel afterwards in case you cant commit. The number to call for more info is 8844 or the front desk at the Disney resort you are staying at.2.Always go left because large crowds tend to go right bank on it it’s almost guaranteed this happens. 3.If you’re on a dining plan in order to maximize your credits eat snacks for breakfast, counter service meal for lunch, and your table service meal for dinner. By the way, the best places to grab breakfast is at epcot especially Norway and France they have the best pastries and they open the earliest.4.Wear your Celebration pin/button because cast members will go out of their way to create extra magic for you like free swag, cupcake, fast pass, money(totally kidding on money). 5.Know where the parade starts because you can get the best views possible if you know where to be especially magic kingdom which parades usually start in frontier land. If you watch it there first, you can go off and ride other rides while other people are still watching the parade on main street.6.Plan accordingly when it comes to closures and/or refreshes because if you come once a year why come when space mountain is closed for maintenance? By the way, closures mostly happen during off peak season which is January thru early march.7.Always watch the second show whether if it’s a parade, fireworks show, etc. always opt for the second showing so you can ride other rides while everyone is watching the show. 8.Park hop during extra magic hours, In other words, go to the park that had EMH the day before first to avoid crowds then the following day later on in the day go to the EMH park and so on.9.Ride twice with little to no wait by going to the most popular rides at each park during rope drop while having a fast pass for the same ride for that day. The park doesn’t get super busy until 1-2 hours after opening.10.Schedule an early breakfast ahead of park opening so you’ll be one of the first in the park that way once rope drops your already there and behind the rope(no running which is frowned upon). For instance, if you want to ride Seven dwarfs mine train book a reservation at be our guest restaurant so once your done its coaster time.11.Wait for the second bus unless you like standing and smelling other people armpits.12.Use the resort monorail instead of the express one because its faster than the express and if your at magic kingdom its only one stop from the TTC.13.Use both sides of the line because once again crowd mentality( see rule #2)14.Don’t forget to take advantage on discounts especially snacks AP holders have those discounts anytime to use at their disposal.15.Bring your own snacks so if you are a Amazon prime member you can have your snacks delivered to the resort so it will be waiting for you now.16.Guest relations has a pin trading book which has a vast selection of pins to choose from.17.Use the restroom before getting online.18.Prepare for weather by packing a poncho, sunhat, sun glasses, etc.19.Character calls for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.20.Compliment a cast member if they deserve it lol.
On This week’s episode of The Peaceful Thrill Seeker Podcast, we will discuss what you need to know before going to the grand opening of Disney’s Hollywood Studios newest land Star wars: Galaxy’s Edge( Planet Batu) which opens next month!! Plus, I will discuss the latest and greatest in the theme park universe from Universal to Seaworld!! If you want to submit your Questions, comments, etc. Click on the link below: https://www.peacefulthrillseeker.com/submit-your-question/Click below to subscribe to the show:Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-peaceful-thrill-seeker-show/id1449791603Google: https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuc3ByZWFrZXIuY29tL3Nob3cvMzA2NDkxNS9lcGlzb2Rlcy9mZWVkCastbox: https://castbox.fm/channel/id1985091?country=usSpreaker: https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-peaceful-thrill-seeker-show_1Things you need to know before going to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge1) The first thing you need to know is that the Disneyland version of Galaxy’s edge is nearly identical to the Orlando offering with a couple of compressed sections. In other words, the resistance area(compressed), first order area(compressed), the cantina(not compressed), Millennium falcon ride( the same), Rise of the resistance ride( the same but not open until Dec 5, 2019), etc. 2)Food offerings will be exactly the same which have started to appear on the Disney world website. The only tweak is that Docking Bay 7 has a combined lunch & Dinner menu which is not offered in the Disneyland version. Unfortunately, the widely popular solution garden spread is missing from the Disney world version as a result of combining the menus which can change in the future.3)At this time, which is subject to change based on what happened at the Disneyland opening, you do not need to make a special reservation to visit Galaxy’s Edge. Now, there will be an Annual passholder as well as cast member previews( among others hehehe) before the land officially opens and those are limited and/or with reservations which begin this week and August 17-21 for AP’s. Additionally, for those of you who are staying at the onsite resorts there may be what’s called boarding groups which have a 2 hour window to go in and can stay for as long as you want. 4)Get there early because the early bird catches the worm. Keep in mind that Disney World sees more tourists than Disneyland because they cater primarily to Locals who go there all the time unlike here where you can meet people from all over the world year round. Now from August 29-31, Hollywood studios will be opening at 6am in order to accommodate everyone who is coming for the opening of galaxy’s edge but keep in mind that extra extra magic hours will come in handy for you resort dwellers thru Nov 2.5)Visit the Cantina as well as building your light saber with Savi workshop first because those two particular attractions will be in high demand like it was in Disneyland. Reservations for those two is as follows: guests are only allowed to make reservations day of which open at 7am and there are no stand bys/walk ups spots so keep that in mind. After that, you can then finish your to do which is consists of Droid building, Millennium falcon, and Dok Ondar.6)If you want to be a pilot, be one of the first two to board the ship because being the pilot is the best seat in the house guaranteed because you literally feel the ship move as your moving it. If that strategy doesn’t work, you can always try to switch cards with someone in the holding room who doesn’t know about the pilot being the best seat in the house.7)If you like spending money, keep in mind that a lightsaber is $200, a droid $100, and a beer craft $75.8)The Food Sucks there( blue and green milk eww yuck) next tip9)Bad Guys are in the first order area, Good guys in the resistance area.10)At the black spire outpost remember these sayings Bright Suns= Hello, Til the spire= goodbye, going off world= leaving, for the order= dedication to the order, 1 Galactic credit= 1 U.S. Dollar, the shops use symbols, your iphone can translate those symbols using the Disney app, etc. 11)***Warning*** The Fuzzy Taun Taun makes your mouth go numb!!
