Joshua Hicks worked with the CrossFit Games medical team starting in 2015 and was the leader of the group in 2022. He has also served as the Director of Medical and Safety at Loud and Live events (Wodapalooza, West Coast Classic, Granite Games) and the Rogue Invitational, while overseeing medical, security, and venue control. Joshua talks with Sean, Tommy and Lauren about how Emergency Activation Plans (EAP) are contstructed for events, who is invovled in the decision making around them, what safety measures are cutomary for events held on the water and how he and his teams have handled medical emergencies in the past.
