The Founders knew what Trump knows. Elections are not decided by the elite. They are not decided by the entrenched bureaucrats in Washington DC, or by the bipartisan establishment politicos who had the town sewn up for three decades. They are not decided by push-pollers or effete media talking heads. They are decided by Middle America. They are decided by the Deplorables and the bitter clingers to guns and religion. They are decided by that sea of red hats in very blue Minnesota.
The entire concept behind Impeachment 2.0 deserves only a single sentence, but it's a Faulknerian one. Ready? Begin.
Trump just outwaited China. They're back to the table. Japan just made a deal. Will the media now stop the hysterics?
One can only wish that the self-proclaimed Progressive fans of RBG, Axelrod included, would stop idolizing her for a minute and actually listen to her. Elections have consequences. The President gets to nominate judges of his partisan ilk and the Senate should honor that with unanimous approval. As they did for her. One fears they’re far too deafened by their own primal screams.
Assume we are all going to die in 12 years, and the actions of the eco-fascist Millennials in Christchurch, Dayton, and El Paso make a sick kind of sense. And they aren't going to stop there.
American Democrats aren’t alone in their increasingly open antisemitism. The much admired European Union has come up with a wonderful idea to require identifying marks on all products coming from a Jewish State. Maybe they could take a page from 1939 Germany, and make up some little yellow Stars of David. Omar is recycling some nice Nazi propaganda quite successfully, and there's no point in reinventing the wheel.
Jeffrey Epstein was accused of hosting a Who's Who of Democrat national politicians and donors for two decades of pedophilic abuse, before dying under bizarre circumstances in federal custody. Guess who the press wants to blame?
One might wish, were one living in a sane world, that the media shills and Hollywood twits and lobotomized Democrat presidential hopefuls would recognize that they are hoist upon their own rhetorical petard. If Trump is responsible for El Paso, Bernie Sanders --- and AOC and Elizabeth Warren and Ilhan Omar --- are responsible for Dayton. But we don't live in a sane world any more.
The media has spent the last week desperately trying to tie any one of three mass murders by psychopaths to Donald Trump. At each successive failure, it discards the victims as useless to its narrative. That says far more about the media than Donald Trump.
Donald Trump has changed the federal judiciary for a generation. And in the next week, eclipsed by stories about phantom racism and Maryland rats, he will likely pass a milestone of over 100 new federal District Court judges.
Two fascinating things happened yesterday, and they are assuredly connected on a cosmic level. Yesterday, Judge Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed a major lawsuit brought by the Democrat National Committee. And yesterday, Democrat candidate Marianne Williamson warned us of a psychic Apocalypse. Unconnected? Oh, ye of little faith.
The only thing which will restore the confidence of a large portion of the American public in the integrity of our intelligence services is new leadership unflinchingly dedicated, not to a bureaucracy, but to the bedrock principles of the United States Constitution. Listening to John Ratcliffe at the Mueller hearing, there can be no doubt he is loyal --- and yes, in the words of Chuck Schumer, “blindly loyal” --- to those principles. And that just may restore faith in the Republic.
In between the droning rehash of the 480-odd page non-report of non-crimes was this inescapable conclusion: nobody in the 35 million dollar Mueller investigation had any interest in their stated purpose of investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election. Donald Trump has been right all along; they were charged with getting him. It really was a witch hunt.
There is nothing so offensive to everyday, average, Americans than having their generous country excoriated by a spoiled brat of an immigrant who actually achieved the American dream and lives a life of fame and comfort about which they --- ordinary, Deplorable rubes that they are --- can only dream. It rankles. A lot.
Consider the current crop of Democrat candidates and their wild stampede to the hard left. They are suicidal: a herd of hysterical lemmings streaming headlong over a socialist cliff. Why?
Today's Progressives embrace the totalitarianism of an Orwellian state as a necessary means toward fairness. Rose Valley is a microcosm of our political future.
From smarmy pandering in Spanglish to a bizarre Wiccan priority to scold New Zealand on its child-rearing claims, the Democrat debates were mesmerizing television, but for all the wrong reasons.
Trump negotiates like Reagan. He gets their attention first: he scares the bejeezus out of them with something they are horrified to suspect he is crazy enough to actually do. Then he tells them how he can make it all better, instead. Hardball: it works.
The Enthusiasm Gap. The Democrat organizers can force any number of sullen union employees into buses on election day. Trump won’t need it. He has the Deplorables, and they are beyond fired up; they are electric with enthusiasm. You can’t buy that; you can’t bus that; and you can’t push-poll it into existence.
It sure looks like Donald Trump is about to be re-elected to the presidency of the United States, but the media and pundit assure us that his effort will be, at best, “an uphill battle”. Because everyone knows crowd sizes are “a meaningless metric” and do not translate into votes. 2016 was an aberration, right? Believe the polls and your betters, rubes, not your lying eyes.
