An honest podcast about the state of our relationship with wild nature. Renouncing harmful anthropocentric ideals, focusing on true essentials for an adequate life as a human being; and recognizing the indispensability of our tremendously diverse world by establishing a greater sense of place within that world.

It will host an on-going discussion about the needs of nature, exploring the current environmental crisis, the importance of our reconnection to our wild earth, biodiversity, re-wilding efforts, apex predator protection, the age of exploitation and decline, human nature, neurobiology and more.
We will also explore how our day to day lives lead to a continuum of unmindful apathy for the greater ecology in which we live and address the ways we can mend our relationship to nature. A journey to inspire listeners to reconnect with their wild roots. We will explore and share the many ways we can cognitively connect to wild earth every day and bring our minds to a more lasting recognition of our innate connection to this Earth.
With a deeply nature-focused and purposefully-driven dialogue, this podcast consists of a mix of formats, including solo-broadcasting, recorded discussions and interviews with other ecologists, naturalists, biologists and environmentally-minded individuals.

An estimated 690-megawatt solar power generating facility is about to be built on roughly 7,100 acres of public land. Located within the Mojave Desert, around 33 miles northeast of Las Vegas and directly south of the Moapa River Indian Reservation. What could be wrong about that? Afterall, solar energy is the best alternative energy, right?Turns out, our energy consumption demands are also consuming critical habitat for multiple federally threatened and endangered species on irreplaceable wild landscapes. The Mojave Desert tortoise is a federally threatened keystone species protected by the Endangered Species Act. Then why is its habitat being destroyed... Solar power is people-approved. But all big businesses see is profit. Solar panels belong over parking lots and on rooftops not in our precious public lands! We speak with Michael Dax, the New Mexico Representative for Defenders of Wildlife in Santa Fe about the Wildlife Corridors Act. Michael was instrumental in helping to pass legislation in the New Mexico Legislature to establish and protect wildlife corridors, and has been deeply involved in legislative efforts to modernize wildlife management in the state. Before moving to New Mexico, Michael has worked in the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Parks as a trail groomer and tour guide. Michael also earned a master’s degree in environmental history from the University of Montana where he began work on his book, Grizzly West, which focuses on the attempt to reintroduce grizzly bears to the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness in Montana and Idaho.
