Rose has a new boyfriend. She likes him but doesn't understand why they haven't been intimate yet. They go away for the weekend and she learns he's impotent. Meanwhile, Sophia gets a feather from Uncle Vito. She has to finish a vendetta. Rose is coaching a kids football team. She goes a bit crazy like she usually does with sports. She enlists Dorothy to be her assistant coach. Blanche gets stood up by her date, but meets a new man. She does not realize he is blind. After they've gone on a few dates she doesn't understand what he likes about her. The roof is falling apart and letting lots of water in. Blanche is finally forced to repair it. However, a new roof costs $10,000 and she doesn't have that. They learn an artist is dying and buy one of his paintings at an auction to sell for profit to pay for the new roof after he dies. The problem is he doesn't die, Sophia saves his life. Sophia becomes gravely ill and winds up in the ICU. Dorothy is not allowed to visit her in the ICU. Stan decides to propose to Katherine, but the girls are not impressed with the cheap ring and help him pick out a decent one. During Sophia's hospital stay Stan helps gets updates on Sophia's condition. The stress causes Dorothy to think she still loves Stan and wants to be with him. Sophia thinks she is going to die at 9p saturday night. Blanche's brother Clayton comes to visit after his marriage ends. We learn that his marriage ended because he is gay. He has trouble telling Blanche. They finally talk and she accepts him. Rose buys everyone lottery tickets. Blanche has bought and older bomber jacket. One of the tickets is worth $10,000. Blanche puts it in the jacket for safekeeping, but Sophia donates it on accident. The girls go on a quest to find the ticket. They wind up in a homeless shelter where each one has their own experience. Sophia and Max come back from their honeymoon. They forgot to get a new place to live. They stay with the girls while looking. The stress causes Dorothy to start smoking again.
