I think you made a lot of valid points. I think the education and access to birth control and reproductive rights is a huge factor in a declining birth rate. I also wonder why it's a problem right now? This country's got a really high homeless population and I feel like it's overpopulated so the idea of not increasing the population doesn't seem like a a bad idea for a while. IMO. Also the FIRE movement, it's not about saving money to the point where you can't enjoy your life. It's about optimizing your savings rate to make it so that saving money isn't a big deal anymore, and working a standard nine-to-five job doesn't have to be the "standard". the ability to make a choice of how you spend your life, how you spend your time and money, and investing in the things that are truly important to you, and being able to make that choice. is a great source to read into this, he's one of the major players in the FIRE community, if you want to know more about this. It's less about not buying paper towels and more about konmari-ing your lifestyle in a way that allows you to so all the things.

Pet peeve, bad drivers. The ones who just ignore that anyone else is on the road, and have completely forgotten that they should turn on their turn signals. Nose strips, there are clear ones that I got for my DH, they help, but not perfect.

Laser hair removal, still worth it. I would still recommend it. The pain of laser is nowhere near waxing. it's like having a rubber band snapped on your skin, instead of the top layer being ripped off.

There is a thing about drinking too much water, it can cause your salt levels to be too low, which can cause other problems.
