ep.28 | From behind the chair with Kendall Eggart WassThis episode is bittersweet as its the last episode....of the first season! GOTCHA! In case you are wondering, we do have a ton of episodes to release but, due to our schedules getting busier we will be releasing an episode every other week instead of every week. This episode is a bit special for a few reasons.Reason #1. This is the first wedding/bride we have got to work together as vendors and as WE ARE WED TALKS. Reason #2. When we recorded Kendall's last name was Eggart but now it is Wass.Reason #3. There were six vendors (Salt & Light Visuals, Chrissy Floral Designs, Gulf Coast Glam House, AnyDayDJ, Wedding Bees & Southern Frills Weddings + Events) that have been WE ARE WED TALKS, working together to make Kendall's day one of a kind.  Reason #4. This is the final episode of season one and, we have some big things coming in season two. #educateandinspireDid you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube? Welcome "WED TALKERS" to the last of four episodes of our recording session in Atlanta at Ambient Plus Studio. In this episode, we are actually "wed talking" with Kristi from Ambient Plus Studio & Coco Red Events. Kristi is a part of the Ambient Plus Studio team that helps them with multi-day and high-end, more complicated events. Kristi loves the team aspect of Ambient Plus Studio and how creative all of them are, which makes for a fun, inspiring, positive atmosphere.Kristi also loves how versatile Ambient Plus Studio is. With over 27,000 sq feet at your disposal, broken down into five stages (or rooms), hardwood floors everywhere with exposed brick Ambient Plus Studio is the perfect blank canvas. Ambient Plus Studio can house your wedding, special event, concert ( Spotify  + Lil Yachty ), or even as a location for movie or show production ( Netflix recorded some of Raising Dion there).Kristi also dives in a little bit about her experience as being a business owner and wedding planner for Coco Red Events. We (Ramsey & Caleb) are beyond thankful for the graciousness, hospitality, and professionalism Ambient Plus Studio showed us while letting us record WE ARE WED TALKS. episodes 18-21. We will never forget the experience we had on our first podcast recording tour, and it will be hard-pressed for the next venues we go to out of town to live up to your standards Ambient Plus Studio. Special Thanks to:Paul, for making this all happen and making the call to allow us to record at Ambient Plus Studio. Paula, for being there on the day of recording and having the doors open for us promptly at 8 am. We hope you enjoyed those doughnuts! Jack, for making the place shine and sparkle. And, Kristi for sitting down with us for a bit and "WED TALKING" with us!#educateandinspireDid you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube? And we're back "WED TALKERS" for episode 20 and the third in a four-part series of recording in Atlanta at Ambient+Studio. Our guest for this episode is Joel and Todd from Mike Moon Studio. Joel and Todd run one of the biggest photography studios not just in Atlanta but in the whole South-East Region. They have close to 40 employees who range from sales, photographers, videographers, assistants, and editors. Their team can deliver pictures from the wedding within 14 days (but most of the time within four days from the wedding) and video within a guaranteed six weeks! But getting to this point and striving to push past this point was not easy. It took both Joel and Todd wearing multiple hats for the business and sometimes working 13-17 hour days. Their passion for consistency, willingness to evolve, and to be comfortable with being uncomfortable provides peace of mind not only for their brides and grooms but for the whole team.  Mike Moon Studio is one to take notes on for their scaling and professionalism. #educateandinspireDid you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube? Welcome "WED TALKERS" to episode 19 of WE ARE WED TALKS. This episode is the second in a series that we recently recorded and shot in Atlanta at Ambient+Plus Studio. Our guest for this episode is Andrea Miclea of Heirloom Foto! Andrea got her Bachelors in English Literature and a Masters in Early Childhood Development, but always had the spark for photography burning inside her. Starting when she was eight years old shooting roll after roll of film on her mom's Olympus cameras. At age 15, she received her first DSLR camera from her dad and became "that girl with the camera." Andrea quickly figured out that she loved capturing moments and was utterly fascinated by photography but didn't think it would end up being her profession. After getting her Masters' degree, Andrea was still not 100% satisfied. At the age of 21, she decided to pour gas on the idea of being a professional photographer and has never looked back.  Now 27, Andrea's business Heirloom Foto is blowing up and taking her around the world to weddings for brides and grooms .Andrea is a shooting star!  We are honored that she sat down with us to do our podcast and gave our listeners tips on how to create a work-life balance.  Listen as she shares some tips on social media and how to get acclimated to your surroundings, all while traveling for photography. #educateandinspire_______________________________________________________________________________Did you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube? Wassup "WED TALKERS" We are so excited about sharing the next few episodes with you all!! First off, we love every episode as they all have their own uniqueness to each one, but for the upcoming four episodes, WE ARE WED TALKS. went on the road to Atlanta, Georgia! We are so thankful as well as Ambient+Plus Studio was so gracious to host our guest for the podcast recordings and us all day. Our first guest Kaitlin Long of Downtown Flowers, actually recommended where we recorded and is just one of the sweetest, most creative vendors we have had the pleasure of podcasting with. Kaitlin started as a veterinarian assistant in 2009. She loved helping animals, but in late 2014 when she and her husband Dillon Long were expecting their first child, lifting 50-pound dogs on to the vet table didn't seem like the best idea for an expecting mother. As things would have it, about that time, an opportunity came available to start helping at Downtown Flowers. So Kaitlin took the jump and left the vet gig and started working at Downtown Flowers, not knowing how far it would take her.  2019, another child and, another storefront later, Kaitlin is the sole owner of Downtown Flower's two locations and pursuing her dreams and enjoying making her client's dreams and visions come true.By continuously pushing the business to grow, getting out of her comfort zone, meeting new vendors, using her creativity & resiliency, Kaitlin has made Downtown Flowers into one of the best florists around the North Georgia, Atlanta area! #educateandinspire_______________________________________________________________________________Did you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube? Welcome back "WED TALKERS" to ep.16 w/Melissa Wilson of Melissa Wilson Photography!Melissa got her start as a photographer at the age of 16 when she started doing weddings and events for her friends from church. Even though she was a new photographer, people were in love with the moments she was capturing. Melissa knew then that this is what she wanted to do as a career. Fast forward a few years after Melissa had gotten her degree, and she was still not where she wanted to be. Due to having a day job and trying to figure when was the right time to start her photography business.  Well, there is never a proper time so, Melissa took the BIG leap of faith. Coinciding with having tons of faith, working super hard and having a community over competition attitude Melissa has risen to be one of the top wedding photography businesses on the Gulf Coast. Melissa is super talented, sweet, funny. She feels super blessed that she gets to work with people on some of the most special and happy days of their lives and can make her schedule so she can hang with her husband Ace and their daughter Jewels. #educateandinspire_______________________________________________________________________________Did you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube?
