I fell out a window face first but landed on my back. I can see how he could turn in air. I don't think she meant to kill him.

I get Dr. Phil’s point about how she could not foresee him falling through the window because they are generally much stronger on high rise buildings, BUT he also broke a separate window earlier that day, right? So that should have given both of them the indication that the windows are more fragile

Woah! Not really a fan of the Dr Phil show. But I listened to this after hearing Dr Phil’s Armchair Expert interview. I was really impressed with his interaction with Dax Shepard. So I gave this a shot. So glad I did! I love Dr Phil’s narration!!!!

This might be the years I spent in school...but I'm interested in knowing more about the statistics that were mentioned in this episode? Where did they come from and what was the data collection in building these numbers?

A lot of people clearly have no idea or knowledge about how Dr Phil got where he is and the education, experience, and how his brain miraculously understands and has the gift of putting insight into people who never would have the capability to do that themselves is absolutely incredible. He absorbs and analysis everything. He pays complete attention to details that very very few people would even think of or consider it from a completely different prospective. How about those people do their research and educate themselves before criticizing anyone. Stay in your lane!!

The public needs to know who to call when someone is in crisis. Who will actually do something to detain and evaluate an at risk individual? A pastor or school counselor isn't enough. If a person is a day away from committing mass murder or suicide no amount of talk therapy is enough on an outpatient basis. Unfortunately they won't even be admitted if you take them to the emergency room or call the cops. This is where the gap is in the system. Dr Phil the public needs a flowchart complete with numbers to call to show us how to deal with mental illnesses crisis. The chart needs to be in every Anericans's household.

Dr. Phil I feel you should offer to give her therapy for life. She is going need it if you aren't able to do this it just be a would be a precursor to another tragedy in the future most likely.

I have heard the wording on the door been said 2 ways but if it says "..can YOU save her". It seems as though it was directed towards a specific person besides "her". Anger or hurt directed at Jonah for allowing Rebecca in Max's life.

Regarding “Mansion of Secrets”, did anyone other than Adam actually see Rebecca’s body hanging from the balcony? He had cut her down before the police came and I can’t remember hearing if anyone else saw her before that.

Dr. Phil, you ask “how can this happen?” when referring to the system that failed Gypsy Rose. I can tell you with certainty that too many state family social services are understaffed, undertrained and so when these things get referred to “whomever” for follow-up, for a home visit and evaluation, they too often just fall through the cracks & it gets buried on someone’s desk.

I don't think it was suicide. It doesn't fit, that message seems like a psychotic threat not a cry for help. I do wonder why no one has ever heard the voice message from the boyfriend though. Side note: why can't I even remember his name? 🤪
