Steve agrees with all three of them and adds in Drake London as another player being drafted too early at his current ADP of 24.3 and also disagrees with two of the players at the end of Jay's list.Next is a discussion of orphan teams that are currently available for just $10 in the Dynasty Owner Orphan Store. One of the three teams that Steve highlighted in his orphan podcast last week (Tintle's Murderhawks) is still an orphan. They also talk about the newest Dynasty Owner writer, All Outta Bubble Gum, who will be focusing on orphan teams in his articles.The third topic is one that Steve has wanted to discuss for several weeks, but they haven't been able to get to do. It's the Dalvin Cook situation with Minnesota. Steve is pretty convinced that Dalvin isn't going anywhere because it would have happened already if it was going to happen and believes that the Vikings should keep Dalvin and make their best effort to win the Super Bowl. Steve's passion convinces Jay that Dalvin should stay in Minnesota.Finally, they talk about rookie drafts and one league that both of them are in with completely different rookie draft positions. Jay has 10 picks in this Dynasty Owner rookie drafts including six 1st round pick, while Steve just traded his last pick (3.05) away along with a 2024 3rd round pick for Leonard Fournette. Jay looks at a couple of trade offers for his 1.07 pick that is on the clock, but doesn't want to take either one so he makes his pick. Dynasty Owner has two weekends of startup drafts in the books and this is the first opportunity that Jay and Steve have had to discuss what's been going on with those drafts. They tackle a range of issues from who's getting picked first overall, who's getting pick in the first round, how come Breece Hall has an ADP about 40 spots higher than Javonte Williams. Jay is surprised at how late Najee Harris is getting picked in these startup drafts, while Steve's surprise late pick is Rhamondre Stevenson. Shocking homer picks by the Steelers' fan (Jay) and Patriots fan (Steve). They also talk about which first round pick by ADP they got correct a few weeks ago when doing predictions. Rookie drafts start on Thursday with the beta leagues and both of them are looking forward to those starting. They discuss startup draft ADP for rookies, but caution that those ADPs might not accurately reflect how rookies are picked in the rookie drafts because of salary cap limitations and team needs. They discuss who is going earlier or later than anticipated and if either Will Levis or Hendon Hooker will sneak into the first round of rookie drafts, even though neither one has a startup draft ADP of under 100.0.
