After spending 13-years as a traveling hairstylist to NYC, LA, and Dallas, Cameron was inspired to help her creative peers, many of whom are extremely talented but lack the tech-savviness required to grow a business online. You know you need an MVP website (see episode #39) but what exactly are you testing or measuring when it goes live? For most early-stage startups, you’re testing your minimum viable product, spending time in R&D, and engaging in conversation to raise capital. That doesn’t leave much time for marketing, let alone analyzing your KPIs when you’re just getting numbers on the board. In this episode, I'll share the 3 key metrics you need to monitor on your new website so you can monitor your progress and report back to investors with confidence. Ready to Build Your Minimum Viable Website? At BrandPsyche, we take the guesswork out of building your MVP website. Our Website in A Week and Done-In-A-Day packages provide you access to simple one and multi-page builds that look polished, professional, and ready to convert your ideal target market, impress investors, and acquire those early customers. No more high-priced agencies pitching $30k+ for your first stage website design. No more back and forth resulting in delays and scope creep. No more embarrassment or confusion when an investor wants to see your homepage. Instead, you’ll walk away with a beautifully designed site that meets your minimum viable brand standards as your startup grows.Book a 20-minute discovery call to learn more or learn more at https://brandpsyche.co/minimum-viable-website
At the very least, an MVP website is a quick and dirty website. It includes features like a logo, social buttons, as well as a description, basic product information, and the contact details of the company’s founders. Coined from the term ‘Minimum Viable Products,’ MVPs are products that have just enough features to satisfy early customers and meet at least one of their identified needs. The term "minimum" refers to its minimal nature and the term "viable" refers to the need to work in reality. MVPs are launched to introduce target customers to an early version of a product and to gather their feedback for its future development.Using this same framework, the MVP website or minimum viable website as we call it, hinges on the same principles.

‘Does brand purpose drive profit?’ This is the question I often get by clients waking up to the value of aligning with a cause in an age of non-stop political, economic, and social uprisings. My answer? “Maybe.”I say maybe because aligning with purpose isn’t an all or nothing strategy. Can it help? Sure. Can it drive new business? Of course. Can it make the world a better place? Yup. Can it better define your customer base? Mm-hmmm.But it’s not guaranteed.Today I want to share with you the three types of purpose that brands commonly embody and share why ‘woke advertising’ (a type of marketing strategy aimed at bringing attention to social issues via brands that target niche consumers) may not be your best bet. And to download the FREE guide mentioned in this episode, click here: https://stephaniejiroch.lpages.co/brand-activism-guideResources:Forbes article on Millennial consumerism: https://www.forbes.com/sites/danschawbel/2015/01/20/10-new-findings-about-the-millennial-consumer/#235055f96c8fTom Roach's article on brand purpose: https://thetomroach.com/2020/06/23/truth-lies-and-brand-purpose-the-biggest-lie-the-ad-industry-ever-told/ Ready to take your brand message to a new level? One of the worst things you can do for your business is to tell a bad story. The biggest mistake I see entrepreneurs or small business owners make is assuming the design, font and fancy buttons they’ve paid a website designer to create for them will not only attract, but then convince, a browser to become a raving, paying fan.And so many entrepreneurs do build beautiful websites but then leave their stories - the actual words written on the page - for later. They put their story as second-best when they should actually be putting story above all else.I’m here to tell you that a bad brand story is 10x worse than no story at all.If you’re ready to tell a story that will help you build a profitable, purpose-driven brand then keep listening…Ready to take your brand message to a new level?
