Why do people go into entrepreneurship? Many people will say for "freedom". But most will never experience the true definition of freedom because of the way they approach entrepreneurship. These people probably would have more freedom if they simply kept their 9-5 jobs and worked till they were 65.The key to freedom as an entrepreneur is to operate as a business owner, who owns a system that works for them. If you're slaving and doing all the work in your business and have no plans on hiring it out, you don't own a business, you just bought yourself a minimum wage job.Caution: This episode may get spicy for some!If you enjoyed this episode please rate it 5 STARS on Apple Podcasts, share it with anyone you think should hear it, and subscribe to our podcast! If you're looking to get started investing in real estate, check out the real estate course, How to Acquire Your First Flip or Rental Property: https://gum.co/firstrealestatedealIf you'd like to achieve early financial freedom, learn how you can by starting with the car in your driveway with the Rebus Rental Car eBook! https://www.rebusrentalcars.com/ebookYou can learn more about us and order your Money Monopolizers merchandise at www.moneymonopolizers.comBe sure to follow us on social media!Instagram: @moneymonopolizersYouTube: Money MonopolizersTwitter @TheMonopolizers
Many people associate Turo with being the only way to be in the rental car business. We've even seen people call it "The Turo Business" instead of the rental car business.Well our guest for today's episode is no stranger to the rental car business yet has NEVER used the Turo platform. In this episode, we spoke with Jeff Trills, a rental car fleet owner who's created a niche in the rental car space by renting specifically to Uber/Lyft drivers.Listen in as he describes his target audience in great detail and how that allows him to spot different opportunities for profit in his rental car business. If you want to learn more about Jeff, you can follow him on IG @jefftrills.Join his Rideshare Domination program to learn how to rent cars outside of Turo! This episode will be a revelation for a lot of entrepreneurs, I hope you're one of them! When it comes to entrepreneurship, people oftentimes delay building a team until they're nearing burnout, which at this point they either find the first warm body to help them, or they scale back. This happens because you value your money more than you value your time. Once you understand this concept, you'll unlock next level thinking to help propel you to financial freedom. You do NOT want to miss this episode! If you enjoyed this episode please rate it 5 STARS on Apple Podcasts, share it with anyone you think should hear it, and subscribe to our podcast!
If you haven't realized it yet, recognize that success comes by intention, not by accident. And at the fundamental level, this is in the form of "paying yourself" before you pay anyone else.Majority of people operate on a paycheck to paycheck basis. They make money, use it to pay all their expenses, then spend the remainder; never once considering putting away some for future investments/business ventures. On this episode, we discuss how paying yourself first is one of the most fundamental, yet crucial, first steps to catapulting you on a journey to financial freedom. If you enjoyed this episode please rate it 5 STARS on Apple Podcasts, share it with anyone you think should hear it, and subscribe to our podcast!

There's seasons in life, there's seasons on the Earth, and there's seasons in business. When it's summer time, you can can grab your shorts and a tank top and be good to go outside. But if you wore that in the winter, it wouldn't work out so well.Similarly, to combat the seasonality of business, you have to know how to adapt and pivot rather than being a victim of the "slow season".On this episode, Alex and Marlon gave tips on how to overcome slow seasons both physically and mentally. Be sure to listen to this episode in it's entirety because it got real good towards the end!If you enjoyed this episode please rate it 5 STARS on Apple Podcasts, share it with anyone you think should hear it, and subscribe to our podcast!
We had to do a throwback for y'all this episode to remind you about the importance of setting the right foundation! The beginning of our financial freedom journey began with lowering our monthly expenses. The number one way to do that is through the concept of house hacking. The ironic thing about this episode is that we actually recorded it from Alex's garage apartment that he still lives in at the time of the recording! On this episode, we demonstrate exactly what separates those who achieve early financial freedom from those who don't.Get your popcorn ready, this one was personal. If you enjoyed this episode please rate it 5 STARS on Apple Podcasts, share it with anyone you think should hear it, and subscribe to our podcast!
So, you signed up for entrepreneurship? Great! But why'd you do it? Maybe because you're pursuing financial freedom? Maybe to buy back time from your job? That's normal, but do you really know what will be required of you to achieve these things in entrepreneurship? On this episode, Alex and Marlon discuss how there are intended and unintended consequences that come with the decisions that we make.Entrepreneurship is something that is becoming much more mainstream. But at the same time, people are realizing just how much more work is required of them then when they were at their 9-5s in order to actually achieve that "financial freedom". What's the number one reason that most small businesses fail? There's many reasons that people may come up with for this answer; not enough funding, not enough clients, not enough passion, and so on.On this episode, we discussed how most small business owners simply never take their business far enough to achieve their escape velocity for their business. To reach this level, like in physics, you will have had to overcome all the barriers and obstacles that stop the most others in your space. This is the point where you've "escaped" Earth's gravitational pull and your business can run with or without you. Until you've officially escaped, the forces will always work against you until you inevitably give up and quit.Listen in on our discussion on how to overcome these barriers and achieve the breakthrough that your business needs! If you enjoyed this episode please rate it 5 STARS on Apple Podcasts, share it with anyone you think should hear it, and subscribe to our podcast!
