In this episode of the podcast, Brittney Mack had the pleasure of interviewing Michael Stein, an accomplished entrepreneur, actor, writer, director, producer, stand-up comedian, and personal development expert. Brittney Mack interviews Scott Edwards whom hosted, produced, and directed television. Edwards also established the illustrious Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club. He ran the comedy club chain for over 21 years. Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club, founded in 1980 in lovely Old Sacramento, California, has hosted some of the best in the industry over the years. The club has made a name for itself as one of the best comedy clubs in the nation. Laughs Unlimited, one of the country's longest-running comedy clubs, has played an important role in shaping the careers of many comedic stars. The "Wall of Shame" at the Laughs features photos of Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, Dana Carvey, Yakov Smirnoff, George Wallace, Harry Anderson, Bob Saget, Dennis Miller, and Paul Reiser, all of whom began their careers on the Laughs stage. Thanks to Edward's good friend Bob Saget, Edwards welcomed Tom Hanks to also work at his comedy. Tom Hanks then filmed Bosom Buddies and got his big break. Fun fact, later this week on March 25th marks 41 years since Bosom Buddies' finale. As you can see, Edwards has worked with many legendary people. Willie Tyler and Paula Poundstone are a couple more. In addition to the comedy club chain, Edwards founded over ten businesses, including a modest construction firm, restaurants, art galleries, a tourist submarine, and a beach shack in Hawaii.
