Another midweek game, another midweek away win and another (for us at least), enjoyable midweek podcast. We had plenty to talk about including the superb performance from Jayson Molumby, there was a mention about the weather and of course we talked about that man, Mr. 300 himself; Paul Huntington. Every credit to him, it's thoroughly deserved. If you want to put your money into a local, worthy cause, then Trust House is as worthy as any. In this week's episode, we talk about our first defeat against Bristol City in what feels like forever (it's just short of a decade), we talk about Captain fantastic and his new contract at the club, there's a discussion about Ben Pearson following the gaffer's comments after the game on Saturday and a few other bits and bobs. In the second half, we discuss transfer rumours, our business in the window so far and potential incomings outgoings and we finish up, as always, by looking ahead to the game against Birmingham City on Wednesday night. It's the one everyone's been waiting for; It's the FTF transfer special feat. George Hodgson! Well, at least we like to think everyone's been waiting for this one. Anyway, we discuss the Wycombe debacle at the weekend, give our thoughts on where Alex Neil stands in terms of the FA Cup and then we get stuck into the transfer window. There's an update from the club, there's a Ben Whiteman update and then we talk through the different positions and what we think will happen and what we think we need to do in those positions, as well as highlighting a few possible names the club could look to try and bring in this window. If you want to put your money into a local, worthy cause, then you Trust House is as worthy as any cause. This one was a difficult one at times. We discussed the defeat at the weekend against Nottingham Forest, the penalty, the performance of Tom Bayliss on his first league start and a few other bits and bobs before we discussed the name that is, unfortunately, on the lips of every fan at the moment. I won't focus on him too much but instead, I'll tell you about a local charity. Trust House Lancashire is a charity who offer support and specialist counselling for victims of sexual violence and abuse. If you want to put your money into a local, worthy cause, then you Trust House is as worthy as any cause. In our last episode of 2020, we reviewed the last-minute win over Derby County and our 2-0 home win against Coventry City before reviewing the year for North End. We discussed our moments of the year, our worst moments of the year, our games of the year, goals of the year and we all gave our thoughts on who should be player of the year. Thanks for all of the support this year, it's been a long one. Here's to a better 2021! If you've got any questions, feel free to get in touch with us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. This is a re-record after the original audio file was lost and Scott was more than happy to re-record. We talk about Scott's start in the game, his time at Plymouth as a kid and how he was the defensive equivalent of Joe Garner as a young centre back, his time at Stevenage under Graham Westley, his move to North End, the game against Manchester United in the FA Cup and THAT goal, the play-off final and much, much more. This episode is the 100th episode of the pod! Thanks for all the support and the listens over the last almost 2 years. In this episode, we talked about the Friday night win over Bristol City, the turning of our home form, answered a few listener questions, Jimmy explained a bit about his idea for our upcoming Christmas quizcast episode and we rounded off by letting you know our schedule over Christmas. Merry Christmas, everyone! Enjoy it and try to make the most of it where you can. We'll be back with you all before the year is out. Tonight was an incredibly flat night on the podcast. We discussed the two goals we conceded, how the substitutions absolutely killed us and we finished up by looking ahead to Friday night's game against Bristol City. Saturday was well and truly a day to forget. We covered the football, of course, we did, but there was plenty of talk, thanks to some good listener questions, about the manager, the players and where we might end up in a year or two as a football club. It's a very important period coming up for Preston North End and no doubt it will be a big summer too. Let us know what you think of the episode on social media. A good night at home! Not often we've said that of late. But with 3 points and 3 goals under our belts at home, it's hopefully the turning point for our home form this season and we can now kick on. We discussed our pant performance at home against Wycombe on Saturday and a few other bits before answering some listener questions and looking back at 9 years of Peter Ridsdale at Deepdale. Cherries were well and truly popped on the south coast. Overall, a brilliant night for North End aside from the season ending injury for Patrick Bauer; get well soon, BFG. We discussed the game and how we were superb for 70 minutes or so before finishing off and looking ahead to Saturday's game against Wycombe Wanderers. In this episode, we were joined by George Hodgson, the PNE reporter for LancsLive for what should have been our monthly review episode. However, it was an episode in which we discussed plenty of important points that need to be discussed at the moment. We did our usual monthly review section before finishing off by looking ahead to Tuesday night's game against Bournemouth. If you've got any questions, feel free to get in touch with us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. No, we don't want Alex Neil out. Yes, we've criticised him, how could we not after that? We also discussed transfer policy, those at the top of the club and much, much more. We also answered some listener questions because surprisingly after a defeat there was a lot of them as well as a few other bits and bobs. Not a "short midweek episode". This week's episode was a fun one. There was plenty of ball talk as we discussed our first home victory in the league against Sheffield Wednesday and Darnell's balls up. We also answered a handful of listener questions before looking ahead to Tuesday night's game against Blackburn Rovers. Enjoy! For this episode, Jake caught up with North End's former number 25, Richard Cresswell. They discussed Cressy's move to Deepdale, the way he found it so easy to settle in at the club, the different managers he played under in Preston and many other bits about Richard's time at North End and beyond. We were joined by former North End forward, Chris Brown, to discuss the weekend's defeat against Rotherham United before we answered a couple of listener questions. We talked pre and post-international break form, how infrequently Sean Maguire and Tom Barkhuizen have recently and a few other bits before looking ahead to the Sheffield Wednesday game in two weeks time. Enjoy! (If you can). If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. In this monthly review special, brought to you in partnership with LancsLive, we were joined by George Hodgson, the Preston North End reporter for LancsLive, as we discussed plenty of different things. We started with Saturday's defeat against Birmingham, we talked about the manager and were joined by Neil Mellor in voice note form before moving onto our monthly review section and finishing off by looking ahead to Reading on Wednesday night.
