Authorities told a story of a herculean response effort that made shorelines safe and avoided a worst case scenario. Was that really the whole picture? “Ripple” is a new series investigating the stories we were told were over.In Season One, the reporting team traveled hundreds of miles across the Gulf Coast to learn the ongoing effects of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill — which are still impacting many coastal residents more than a decade later. Here is episode 1! And if you’d like to hear more episodes, you can find “Ripple” wherever you get your podcasts.

The store was already failing. Retail is failing. Millions of people in retail have been laid off (according to this podcast), yet somehow the story goes on to blame Wallstreet for the store closing lol. The typical story of how the "big bad wallstreet guys" are the enemy. Even stooped low enough to play audio of children crying when they found out the store was closing. This is trash...

Being originally from New York most of these events were known to me which is why I was against Trump becoming President. I found many, maybe most, of the people in the Midwest where I now live unaware of Trump's history of business failures while lining his pockets. I hope that this well done, factual podcast will be heard by many who don't know these true stories.

The snarky remarks are what make this podcast fantastic! If it were a straightforward history lesson on unfortunate business failures, it would be depressing. A lot of these are laugh or cry situations, and I appreciate that we can laugh! Fascinating history with a side of dumb "dad" jokes, for the win! This is like a SparkNotes comedy version of American History Tellers, in the very best way. Keep your humor, keep your enthusiasm, and keep talking as fast as you want. I love it and I'm here to stay!

Nothing personal, but the narrator tries to be funny/snarky, without success. Also, too scripted. Please try and sound more natural. Otherwise, good content.
