The author or editor of 16 professional books, he is a visiting professor at the University of Virginia, attended Yale Medical School, and completed a psychiatric residency at Stanford.

Etzel Cardeña was born and raised in México, he has advanced degrees from Canada and the US and was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University. He has also worked professionally in theatre as director, actor, and playwright, and is the artistic director of the International Theatre of Malmö.
Helen Marlo, Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist, analyst member of the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, and Professor of Clinical Psychology. She Chairs the Department of Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University; and maintains a private practice in San Mateo, CA. She serves as the Reviews Editor for Jung Journal: Culture and Psyche. Her publications include: Synchronicity and Psychotherapy: Unconscious Communication in the Psychotherapeutic Relationship. Her forthcoming, co-edited book is, “The Spiritual Psyche in Psychotherapy: Mysticism, Intersubjectivity, and Psychoanalysis,” which explores psychoanalytic and spiritual lineages in clinical practice.

Eric, who is originally from East Tennessee, received a Ph.D. in social psychology from Arizona State University. He is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Albion College, where he has taught for almost 10 years. In general, his research examines the relationships among religious fundamentalism, cognitive styles, and prejudice, though he has a wide variety of research interests including life meaning, meaningful coincidence, scale construction and validation, and gender.
Laurence Browne was born in the UK in 1951 to parents living in the Far East and spent much of his childhood there, though at the age of nine was sent to boarding school in England. After completing secondary school in 1969 (Radley College, Oxford), he came to Australia working mainly as a teacher of English as a second language. He is married with two daughters and lives in suburban BrisbaneHe has been interested ever since his early twenties in the possibility of an inner truth and has been a regular meditator since the 1970s. In 2009 he gave up teaching to pursue a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Queensland, gaining his doctorate in 2014. The title of his thesis was Examining Coincidences: towards an integrated approach. In 2017 this was turned into a book released by Imprint Academic, Exeter, U.K. under the title The Many Faces of Coincidence. Over the last couple of years he has been particularly interested in the topic of coincidences in literature and has written two journal articles on the subject. The first of these, ‘Coincidence in Fiction and Literature’, was published in 2019 in the Australian Journal of Parapsychology.

Dr. Martin Sand works at the Department of Values, Technology and Innovation at TU Delft as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie-Fellow with a project on “Moral Luck in Science and Innovation”. He studied „European Culture and History of Ideas” at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) focusing on philosophy and ethics of technology. Sand obtained his PhD in 2018 with the thesis „Futures, Visions, and Responsibility-An Ethics of Innovation“, which was completed at the Institute of Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS).The thesis was supervised by Prof. dr.
