In this episode, APS decided to do a live recording of Informal Paranormal in celebration of Paranormal Day in May 2020. We talk about what locations frighten us the most, where the line is in where we should investigate, and take questions from our listeners in real-time.
In this episode, we kick back and tell our funniest paranormal bloopers. Ghost hunting isn't always serious, and sometimes, things happen that make us facepalm, feel humbled, and make us laugh at ourselves. From a ghost that couldn't stop saying, "Goose" to overreacting to ghostly encounters, we hope this episode has you laughing WITH us and not AT us...but either outcome is okay!
In this episode, Alex, Jenny, and guest co-host Amanda, sat down with Brandon Massullo to talk about the paranormal and the mind. In the episode, we talked about why some people are prone to experience hauntings while others are not. We also talk about the culture of the paranormal and how we can better understand our experiences. More information can be found about Brandon at https://www.hauntedtheories.com/.

Her latest book is "Civil War Ghosts" published by Haunted Road Media. A lifelong student of history, Michelle has worked as a docent at several museums across the county. She is currently the manager of the Mary Washington House in Fredericksburg, VA. You can follow her at her blog Paranormal History at https://paranormalhist.blogspot.com/ .
Informal Paranormal is pleased to welcome Robin Pyatt Bellamy to the show. In this episode, Robin sits down with Alex and Jenny and talks about how a silent film star haunts her office, her work in cryptozoology, her Mothman sighting, women in the paranormal, and reality TV. It's an exciting episode that is not to be missed!
While the folks up north tend to get the claim to fame for being home to some of the earliest pioneers and colonizers of the United States, we can’t forget the South. Or, more specifically, North Carolina. Early colonizers crossed the Atlantic and settled into areas like Virginia, and our very own Tar Heel state. With these people in the new world, came their stories and folklore. Many of their beliefs and stories still resonate today. Many of these souls still haven’t left the infamous Outer Banks. A place where people often vacation today, was the site of traumatic events, and even mysterious disappearances.
Welcome to our inaugural episode of Informal Paranormal! In this episode, APS Core members Alex, Jenny, and Donna talk about what brought them into the paranormal and helping people deal with their hauntings in their homes.
