Hola Friends, Welcome to the Zealous community! I'm your host, Diane Valle, a licensed social worker, therapist, and proud first-gen Mexican American from New York. Overall I am just a Latina navigating life as a First-Gen. This means navigating careers, breaking generational trauma, and learning to differentiate between my own goals and the expectations set upon me by society. This podcast is a safe space for first-gen folks to dream and live the life they earned through lifestyle tips, career tips, and fun conversations with other members of the first-gen community. Every episode will give you a tool or advice to help you build a zealous life that aligns with your goals, and values, in addition to developing a deeper understanding of the superpower the first-gen title gives you.
