Geoff Ward is officially the head coach for the Calgary Flames and it's kind of a meh from us. Trade talk too!
A final look back at 2019-20 as we grade player, coach, and GM performance over a tumultuous season of Calgary Flames hockey .

Well, day one of free agency was nuts. The Flames sure spent a lot. Was it worth it?
Top line is invisible. Tkachuk is hurt. Gio is falling off a cliff. Somehow, Dillon Dube and Cam Talbot have dragged the Flames to a 2-1 series lead.
Playoffs. Yeah Baby.
The Flames will drop the puck v the Stars tomorrow at 3:30 MT. On paper, it’s probably the toughest matchup to predict. The Stars, despite some drama, had a good regular season but have looked pretty rough in the Round Robin during Return to Play.
It’s going to be a highly contested series and one we hope the Flames can come out on top of.
GO FLAMES GO!
Yo, yo. We recorded this the day after the Oilers lost to the Hawks. If you want our closing thoughts on the qualifying round, you’re in the right place. If you want to hear us breakdown round 1 and the draft lotto, skip to episode 88. Thanks y’all!

Being a Flames fan is a roller coaster.
Well it just wouldn't be a Calgary Flames game without some drama......
Flames win 4-1 dominating the Jets on the PP and PK. Standout performances from Johnny Gaudreau, Mikael Backlund, and yes Tobias Rieder lead the Flames to victory.
BUT, as usual, all anyone wanted to talk about was a certain #19 in red.
Hey, y'all. The NHL qualifying round is almost upon us. The Flames and Oilers played a spirited exhibition game which has somehow left us with more questions than answers. Talbot or Rittich? Does Jankowski play? Are the Flames D going to be able to deal with the Jets' speed up front?
It's all too much. Hockey is back and I feel like my old self again. Neurotic, paranoid, totally inadequate, completely insecure. It's a pleasure.

Let’s get kraken! Today we’re chatting Seattle, Valimaki, Bennett, goaltending and, most importantly, Johnny Gaudreau’s ability to put up with pure and utter BS from media and fans.
Hockey is officially back as the Flames held their first official practice of training camp today. The Flames will open their qualifying round best of 7 v the Jets on August 1 but will be without Travis Hamonic who has elected to not participate in the NHL's Return to Play.
We chat implications for the Flames d pairs and no In the Dome episode would be complete without a little rip session on Mike Stone.
Enjoy. GO FLAMES GO
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?? The NHL draft lottery took a crazy and unexpected turn as the the #1 overall pick will be be decided by second drawing. The Flames are alive in the Lafreniere sweepstakes! We chat about the ensuing chaos and what it means for the Flames
Also, no big deal or anything, but Iggy is officially heading to the HHOF.
GO FLAMES GO!
Phase 3 of the NHL's return to play plan was set to see training camps open July 10th. However, today news of Auston Matthews and multiple Tampa Bay Lightning players & staff contracting COVID may see the delay of any return to play.
REGARDLESS we wanted to dive into the potential (and still probable) playoff matchup between the Winnipeg Jets and our beloved boys in Red.
Enjoy a little reprieve with some Flames talk.
GO FLAMES GO!
The Flames and Jets will face off in a best of 5 qualifying round series! We CANNOT WAIT. Here's a quick mini preview.
GO FLAMES GO!
What is up folks. Hockey is coming back!! Ryan Leslie of Sportsnet was kind enough to join us over the phone to discuss the return of NHL hockey and what it means for the Flames.
