60 Minute Movies with Matt Flowers

This week, I welcome new great friends with beards, Mike Pridgen and Andy Kirkwood.  Mike is a writer and standup comedian from South Jersey. In his travels around the world, he’s worked in many fields in the entertainment industry, from film, radio, music, to prosthetics, acting, lighting and much more. He teams up with his long-term creative partner, co-host, writer and director Andy Kirkwood, to bring insight, advice and stories from behind the scenes of your favorite productions, with lots of laughs along the way with their own podcast, All Serious Very Adult Podcast every week. You can find their podcast on the platform that fits you best. Mike and Andy invited me to record an episode of their podcast this past week and I had a great time. We shared lots of laughs and even recorded a mini fun sized 60 Minutes Movies within the recording so be sure to look out for it in the future. I’m sure I’ll post a link when it is up. After we recorded their podcast, we recorded mine and came up with honestly, one of the best movie ideas I’ve never heard of before and look forward to working with Mike and Andy on it to bring it to life. It was great to watch Mike and Andy during this recording because I could see their wheels turning as they spewed out their creative juices for our movie idea.

RIck and Cory have held virtually every job in the entertainment industry, they are two of the most creative people I know and two of my best buds so we were sure to turn a conversation into a great movie idea.  Rick is a former professional wrestler, star (and co-writer) of “The 90 Percent,” which is available on Amazon Prime. His career started in the Philadelphia/New Jersey indie film scene, by completing FOURTEEN "48 Hour" film challenges in one year.
