Hey, Jason, it's great to be here with you thank you for inviting me love being here today. Glad to have you here we talked a little bit the other day prior to the show to kind of figure out topics you want to talk about and it was fascinating conversation. I'd just love for you to  start off by telling people what you do, who you are, where you came from all that good stuff. Well I'm one of those guys early on that got pushed into learning about technology. So I was teaching computer programming back in 1967 at West Point worked with the first computerized war game there went on to get my MBA at Wharton it was a teaching funnel there teaching programming to the MBA students and worked with the first computerized business game. So from there, it's just kind of been staying in touch with the use of technology how you use technology and particularly in a business environment. So it's technology processes and the reporting that you can do with using technology correctly right you know that was one of the things that struck me when we talked the other day.   #JasonWaters #CashFlow #DwaineCanova
Cash Flow With Jason Waters | Guest Russell Seifert Hello welcome to cash flow with Jason Waters. With us today we have Russell Seifert. Welcome, how are you? - Very good and yourself Jason? Doing well, I know we've known each other for a long time but it's good to get reacquainted here. Russell's the founder of Creative Solar USA and tell us a little bit about your company and what you do and how you got into that we are Creative Solar USA. We are what people call a EPC provider. So that is an organization that consults designs even sometimes finances and builds solar energy systems like what people put on the rooftops of their homes or what commercial businesses put up and even the interconnection process. We're on our 13th year now. We've evolved to doing a lot more residential and commercial but commercials definitely picked up but we're known as what you would call a turnkey provider. So we do everything so the customer is not left out there in the cold because in solar even though it's perceived as very cool sexy technology there are multiple steps more than even just building at home because you're dealing with utility, regulatory, permitting different styles of types of permitting, interconnection process etc... and the people here are very passionate and we have a good time. We work hard but we have a good time. Okay so you put in the whole solar system filler in a home or business.  #CashFlow #JasonWaters #JWFinancial

Cash Flow | With Jason Waters:  Guest - Shari Martin Hey out there it's Jason Waters and welcome to this episode of Cash Flow where we talk about the number one goal of your small business, which is to create cash flow. Today with us I have my good friend Shari Martin who runs The Cobb Community Foundation. So instead of just talking about  how you can make more money. how you can save more money, we're going to talk about giving back to our community in this time of need we have now and we've had over the last several months. we'll have for the rest of our lives. So Shari, welcome aboard.  Thank you.  Kind of start with... tell us a little bit about yourself. Well I am an Atlanta girl. We moved down here from Indiana when I was four-months-old. So I'm about as much of a native as you can be nowadays. I grew up in the area. My life out of college was financial services until about five years ago and I started feeling like okay it's time to do something different. I didn't have any idea what that was going to be. So I took a year off figure out what I was going to be when I grew up. During that year I had been on the board of Cobb Community Foundation. That was my year to be board chair.
How do you staff your company in tough times? Ask Leigh Anne Lankford of TrainingPros | Cash Flow    Hi I'm Jason Waters and welcome to Cash Flow. With us today we have Leigh Anne Lankford of TrainingPros. Welcome, Leigh Anne!  - Hi, thank you. - Tell us a little bit about what you do, what your business does and about yourself.  It's a lot of questions at once. So TrainingPros is a specialized staffing company. It's a nationwide company and we work with learning and development consultants, putting them to work with our clients. We like to say when you have more projects than people we can help you out and get those projects started with confidence with a really skilled consultant. So I've been with TrainingPros since 2007. I joined as the relationship manager there and prior to that I was a consultant working the talent pool. But yeah so just in January I became president of the company. But I was with them 13 years now. - Congratulations. - Thank you thank you. So I've been in the Learning and Development space 28-years, since 1992. So I think that just dated me. Everybody knows how old I am now. I work with a lot of small businesses and we do a lot on the finance side and but I always get involved with a lot of different aspects.  Helping people.... they'll come to me saying hey my IT is broken who do you recommend? My HR systems are broken, what should we do? Payroll, whatever you get into it. Heck even sometimes it's Business Development. Say hey Jason, I know you know a lot about this so I know a little bit about a lot right? So tell us what would help me to help my clients is to know #CashFlow #JasonWaters #LeighAnneLankford #TrainingPros
