Fair warning: This week’s episode is explicitly Christian. Cameron Aanestad a California boy with Norwegian dreams. I’m white and the racism pendulum is swinging in the opposite direction as if it’s a necessary move to make up for history. It inspires hope to hear Black Americans who aren’t embracing the CRT movement and who look more in the direction of Martin Luther King Jr.’s , “I Have A Dream”. Thank you for being brave enough to stand up and speak out against the errors of speech sensorship. Use it before we lose it 💗

Amen Kira. We each decide how to react. I recognize that some people may have a reaction of hatred or fear but it should be a feeling of “look what we’ve overcome” and “look how far we’ve come.“

thank you so much! have a couple thoughts. 1. Prager only feels it's bad to be forbidden to use the word when quoting someone. I'm not familiar with the specific clip, but I do know from past comments he's made about this topic. 2. I'd like to hear you thoughts on Huck Finn. it's often banned or sanitized b/c of the flagrant use of the n word. but I always felt that using the n word about the only decent and truely good person in the book, Jim, made a powerful statement about how stupid and ugly racism is. in other words, the use of the n word is a comment on the racists and slave holders not on Jim.

This was a very informative and frankly horrifying podcast. I need to think more about gentrification, cause I always kind of shrugged it off as a non-issue. Thx!

She seems to get the concept of monopoly slightly wrong. I remember hearing that when Ma Bell was broken up, the phones didn't work right for years. I'm too young to know for real, but it sounds right. Just because someone is the only game in town doesn't mean they're sloppy and corrupt. They may honestly want to provide something for people, just to provide it, and they do it well.

So good! I agree that we can't subjectively determine someone's value, or decide their life or death from a percieved struggle they may face. The Constitution guarantees protection and personhood based on our humanness alone. A life is a life ;)

Great perspective and insight! I agree, you can't be personally pro-life but pro-choice. We wouldn't allow ourselves that position on other similar issues, not consistent, and not genuine. If ending a life is wrong for you, it's wrong for everyone. A life is a life 👍
