The Caleb Silvers Show is an audio/video pod with opinions investigations and hopefully the occasional haha. I Started doing stand-up in 2012 and due to a lack of stability was never able to devote myself fully. I have instead, worked a series of odd jobs such as Liquor clerk, gas clerk, clerk clerk, and bail bondsman. During the 17 months I spent working at The bond job, I gained knowledge that, when combined with my real world experience, and run in with an overtly unconstitutional policing tactic leads me to believe we're all fucked. I go in detail about life in bail bonding, pay scales, the worst rights violations, and the time I was able to get Freddy Krueger out of jail for a hundred dollar bill ! Plus stories from jail.
This is more important to me than I can explain effectively so I just lose my mind for 30 minutes. From court dates to junk mail, I construct a believable account of the first time someone traded freedom for a shiny, jingly, quarter.. And how when you get a few more... You can.... Nevermind, just don't be late....

What started out as a late night attempt to "just record something" by reading today's headlines, ended with me in a downward spiral rant about overtly extreme gratitude towards any and all police behavior that isn't active, blatant, provable murder. Even as loosely defined as that's been lately. I have no hard feelings towards any individual person black, blue, brown or otherwise. I only see a desperate need for accountability balance between citizens and the public servants.

This was me trying to record something after work one night.... The next day I worked, I was so sketched out I live streamed my walk to work. It starts a little slow and ends abruptly but may explain some missing context, not sure why I didn't post it. Anything I said about the police after that was retakes.
