This is a short recap just in audio format for people who would prefer to access the rules and guidelines for submitting to the prize in audio instead of on the website.
In this epidsode we chat with Chris Nicholson, trainee QS, about the construction industry, new build dwellings that don't meet basic standards yet pass building control, and a new way of thinking for developers. In a very open a honest conversation, designers and laypeople alike will find plenty to learn and think about as we hear Chris talk about his journey from a rugby accident aged 21 to today where he is embarking on a career as a Quantity Surveyor. Chris' passion for inclusion, accessibility and building a barrier free world come across very clearly and it gives us all hope that with professionals like Chris changing the industry from the inside that there is real hope, in the very near future, of an UK wide inclusive environment. Thanks for listening, subscribing and being part of the Perito podcast community.
