A play on the triumph and losses in performance and life.  The Talent Tank podcast will navigate the inner workings of lifestyle, lives, family, teams, careers, programs, and technology in and around the offroad motorsports industry.  What breeds success with your Talent Tank on full, failures when its on empty.  From the journey to the Starting Line to take that Green Flag, on to exploring trials and tribulations on and off the track in pursuit of victorious achievement and the Checkered Flag.I am guilty of overuse of the nomenclature "Bad Ass", but that's exactly what we have on this episode of The Talent Tank.  Recently retired Special Forces Master Sergeant/E-8 Rob Usnick, former ULTRA4 Racing 4400/UTV/Moto racer, and current pirate of the high seas.  Well fishing guide in the United States Virgin Island.  From his thousands of race miles to his thousands of miles on the open ocean.  How mental preparation gets you in the race, but how mental perseverance gets you to the finish line.  Always finding new ways to challenge himself and his friends, from Afghanistan, to Baja, to Best in The Desert, Johnson Valley to Rausch Creek, being a published author and "Survivor" the TV show hopeful.  If you find yourself in the USVI call Ocean Surfari, and ask for Cpt. Rob.After the Checkered Flag-Chasing Bubbles is a documentary about the journey and spirit of Alex Rust, a farm boy turned day trader from Indiana who, at 25, abandoned his life in Chicago, bought a modest sailboat (called Bubbles) and set out to sail around the world.Alex began his sailing adventure in the BVI from Nanny Cay BVI where he bought Bubbles a 39-foot sailboat. It took him three years to sail around the world and return back to Nanny Cay – where his adventure first began. The day Alex and his boat Bubbles returned to Nanny Cay was momentous. Alex and his crew arrived back to a massive welcoming party at the round-the-world finish line in Nanny Cay.  The party went on for days and Alex and his friends celebrated across the BVI – Nanny Cay, Willy T, Cane Garden Bay and Jost Van Dyke. In 1953, NASCAR's Grand National Series visited the track for the first time. Tim Flock won that first race at the speedway, which became a regular part of the Grand National schedule. After winning his track championship in 1952, Junior Johnson became the most successful Grand National driver at Hickory, winning there seven times.  Hickory was dropped from the Grand National schedule after the 1971 seasonHeadshot Provided by Alan JohnsonBrought to you by:Custom Splice www.customsplice.com for all of your recovery equipment needs, they are your one stop shop. Solar panel costs for an average-sized installation in the U.S. usually range from $11,411 to $14,874 after solar tax credits, and the average price per watt for solar panels ranges from $2.57 to $3.35.Headshot Provided by Alan JohnsonBrought to you by:Custom Splice www.customsplice.com for all of your recovery equipment needs, they are your one stop shop. In addition to these focus areas, intensity is another integral part of CrossFit’s proposition. That a key way to test the body’s limits is to not only challenge it with new and varied movements but to maximize the amount of work done in the shortest period of time. Looking at the beautiful yet rugged terrain, Dave realized it would be the perfect spot to hold a motorcycle race.  It would be a tough event only the strongest riders and machines could finish.  He called the race the Blackwater 100, for nearby Blackwater Falls, and 100 for the number of miles. Blackwater soon became legendary, deemed "America's Toughest Race." The series became known as the Grand National Cross Country Series, GNCC.  Headshot Credit: Harlen FoleyBrought to you by:Custom Splice www.customsplice.com for your recovery equipment needs, they are your one stop shop. From accelerator governors that don’t let the carts reach speeds over 15 mph; to weighted down with heavy engines and batteries and are hard to tip; and typically are used only on smooth paved paths or manicured grass fairways.  The American Journal of Preventive Medicine, however, reports that injuries from being hit by or falling off of golf carts surged 132 percent from 1990 to 2006. Nearly 150,000 people, ranging in age from two months to 96 years, were hurt in golf cart accidents during that time. One reason, according to the Journal, may be that golf carts have become much faster and more powerful. Reaching speeds of up to 25 miles per hour and traveling as far as 40 miles on a single charge, golf carts now offer quick travel in a variety of venues. As noted by the study’s authors, golf carts are routinely used at sporting events, hospitals, airports, parks, college campuses, businesses and military bases. In some gated and retirement communities, golf carts have become the primary means of transportation.A few other golf cart statistics that may surprise you:• 40% of golf cart accidents involve a person falling out of the cart• 10% of golf cart accidents involve rollovers• Each year in the U.S., about 15,000 golf cart related injuries require emergency careBrought to you by:Custom Splice www.customsplice.com for all of your recovery equipment needs, they are your one stop shop. The show used a how-to format, where the hosts build or modify vehicles in order to turn them into off-road-oriented rigs. They also periodically show various forms of off-road racing from across the United States. These include such events as rock crawling, desert racing, sand drags, mud racing, and trail riding adventures. The hosts, Ian Johnson and Jessi Combs, were selected as part of a publicized, nationwide search for hosts where viewers were encouraged to send in their videos and resumes to Spike TV executives.Unlike other shows aired as a part of the Powerblock, the "how-to" component of Xtreme is emphasized to a much greater extent. Since early 2012 the solar farm has supplied 100% of the electricity needed to power the plant at Big B MFG. This has significantly reduced the environmental footprint for Big B. The solar farm is sized to produce 100% of the power needed even as Big B continues to grow. We designed the system for about 20% growth. It is estimated that 18,020 adults (10,190 men and 7,830 women) will die from primary cancerous brain and primary central nervous system (CNS) tumors this year. The 5-year survival rate tells you what percent of people live at least 5 years after the tumor is found. Percent means how many out of 100. The 5-year survival rate for people with a cancerous brain or CNS tumor is almost 36%. The 10-year survival rate is almost 31%. Survival rates decrease with age. The 5-year survival rate for people younger than age 15 is more than 74%. For people age 15 to 39, the 5-year survival rate is about 71%. The 5-year survival rate for people age 40 and over is about 21%. However, survival rates vary widely and depend on several factors, including the type of brain or spinal cord tumor.Location provided by: Cody Waggoner at LasernutPlease like & subscribe.https://www.thetalenttank.com/https://www.instagram.com/thetalenttank/https://www.facebook.com/thetalenttankInsiders Grouphttps://www.facebook.com/groups/TheTalentTankInsiders/

The crown is often at the front. Most suspension forks have an arch connecting the two side of the lowers (the part connected to the axle.) It is often in front of the stanchions (shaft the lowers slide on) but not always. Above the crown, a steerer tube attaches the fork to the bicycle and the handlebars (via a stem) allowing the rider to steer the bicycle. The steerer tube of the fork interfaces with the frame via bearings called a headset mounted in the head tube.At the bottom of the fork, fork ends hold the wheel. Usually, either the axle is bolted to the fork, or a quick release skewer passes through a hollow axle, clamping the axle to the fork. The term fork is sometimes also used to describe the part of a bicycle that holds the rear wheel, which on 19th century ordinary or penny-farthing bicycles was also a bladed fork. On most modern bicycle designs the rear wheel is now attached to a rear triangle comprising the seat tube, a pair of seat stays, and a pair of chain stays, rather than an actual fork, but the rear fork usage persists.Location provided by: Cody Waggoner at LasernutPlease like & subscribe.https://www.thetalenttank.com/https://www.instagram.com/thetalenttank/https://www.facebook.com/thetalenttankInsiders Grouphttps://www.facebook.com/groups/TheTalentTankInsiders/
