7-year-old Jaclyn Dowaliby was abducted from her home on September 10, 1988. For 4 days, her parents held out hope that they would find her safe and bring her home. However, on September 14th her body was found in a parking lot of an apartment complex. Soon after, her parents became prime suspects. Yet mistakes made by police from the second they got on the scene made it difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt who had really committed this crime.Grab a glass, sit back, and put your thinking caps on.Please follow us on socials!Instagram: boozeyblondespodTwitter: boozeyblondesEmail: boozeyblondes@gmail.comFacebook: Blondes, Booze, and Bullsh*teIntro/Closing Music: "Shaving Mirror" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
The small town of Texarkana has not been able to forget its dark past that started in 1946. Dubbed the Phantom Killer, this unknown man would murder young couples on lover's lane- in a move that would prove eerie in 20 years- and put the small town on edge. Still unsolved, this case has taken on a prolific status thanks to The Town That Dreaded Sundown, released in 1976, that put this case on the radar of a whole new generation. But who was the masked man? Was it a known car-thief? A college student? An ex-Air Force man that was in a coma? In two months, serial killers Douglas Clark and Carol M Bundy murdered at least 6 women. The pair would target young, underage prostitutes on the Sunset Strip in the 80s. While Doug received the full brunt of the law, Carol seems to have gotten off a bit easier. However, was she more involved than we were lead to believe? The crimes eerily parallel that of another notorious serial killer that Carol Bundy may have been obsessed with. Judy Buenoano was a lot of things. A mother. A small business owner. A widow. She was also a murderer. Judy Buenoano liked to use arsenic to poison those close to her for financial gain. Her carelessness and escalation is what got her caught. Despite the clear evidence connecting her to the murders, many can't reconcile those actions with the old woman that stood before them at the time of her arrest or later trial. What do you think?SOURCES: https://www.crimemuseum.org/crime-library/famous-murders/judy-buenoano/https://murderpedia.org/female.B/b/buenoano-judy.htmhttps://filmdaily.co/news/judy-buenoano/https://www.flmd.uscourts.gov/black-widowhttps://medium.com/@delanirbartlette/judy-buenoano-the-black-widow-14ba5898f283https://www.healthline.com/health/arsenic-poisoning#complicationsPlease follow us on socials!Instagram: boozeyblondespodTwitter: boozeyblondesEmail: boozeyblondes@gmail.comFacebook: Blondes, Booze, and Bullsh*teIntro/Closing Music: "Shaving Mirror" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Winnie Ruth Judd reached notoriety in Phoenix, Arizona in 1931 when she was stopped at an LA train station with two dead bodies in trunks. The victims were Judd’s former roommates, Agnes Anne LeRoi and Hedvid “Sammy” Samuelson. She was promptly extradited back to Arizona to stand trial. While she was charged and found guilty of the murder of Agnes LeRoi, many don’t believe she had anything to do with the crime. Winnie Ruth Judd’s case has turned into a local conspiracy theory with many believing if she was guilty of anything, it was of either self-defense or disposing of a body and that in fact the real perpetrator was none other than “Happy” Jack Halloran. Halloran was a giant in the lumber business at the time with many ties to prominent local people with power. Was Winnie made out to be a scapegoat? Or is she truly deserving of the name The Trunk Murderess? Henry Lee Lucas rose to infamy after being arrested for the murder of Frieda "Becky" Powell and Kate Rich. What followed was not what police excepted. For close to three years Henry lee Lucas offered up 3,571 confessions, some of which implicated his partner Ottis Toole. Of those, police believed 650 of them to be reputable and cleared the cases. The investigative work came under scrutiny later and it's due to these lies and retellings that we will never really know the truth about their crime spree. H.H. Holmes is more myth than man. He's often labeled as the first documented American serial killer responsible for possibly 200 murders taking place in The Castle during Chicago's World's Fair. But that's hardly the case. While H.H. Holmes did murder at least 9 people, defraud many, and own a building he dubbed The Castle, his story isn't as prolific as we've been led to believe. Thanks to Holmes' own lies, yellow journalism, and a game of generational telephone, the real story of H.H. Holmes is far grander than reality. Pour yourself a drink, sit back, and listen to the disappointing story of H.H. Holmes. Please follow us on socials!Instagram: boozeyblondespodTwitter: boozeyblondesEmail: boozeyblondes@gmail.comFacebook: Blondes, Booze, and Bullsh*teIntro/Closing Music: "Shaving Mirror" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._H._HolmesSOURCEShttps://www.biography.com/crime-figure/hh-holmeshttps://www.britannica.com/biography/H-H-Holmeshttps://www.history.com/news/murder-castle-h-h-holmes-chicago

Robert Hansen became known as The Butcher Baker after he abducted women from Anchorage, tortured them, then "set them free" in the wilderness where he would later hunt them. Robert Hansen confessed to 17 murders but authorities believe it could be upwards of 20 or more. Due to the stigma around his victim's line of work, the temperatures, and time it took for Hansen to get caught, we may never know all the horrific details of his crime spree in the Alaskan wilderness. https://allthatsinteresting.com/robert-hansenhttps://www.aetv.com/real-crime/alaska-serial-killer-robert-hansenhttps://www.talkmurderwithme.com/blog/2019/12/26/robert-hansen-butcher-bakerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?t=2536s&v=e1UQdqhsVzkhttps://www.oxygen.com/mark-of-a-killer/crime-news/robert-hansen-butcher-baker-serial-killer-victimshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_HansenPlease follow us on socials!Instagram: boozeyblondespodTwitter: boozeyblondesEmail: boozeyblondes@gmail.comFacebook: Blondes, Booze, and Bullsh*teIntro/Closing Music: "Shaving Mirror" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

The Honolulu Strangler terrorized Hawaii from 1985 to 1986. In his wake, he left 5 victims and not many answers. The only viable suspect could never be charged due to a lack of evidence. Very few witnesses have come forward based on the information available to the public today. It wasn't until 2018 that this prime suspect's name was released. Prior to the release, the main suspect in the Honolulu Strangler case was only known as "the mechanic" or "the informant"Tune in this week as we take you to a tropical locale troubled with violent deaths not seen by police at this time.
