We recorded a new episode for this month and decided not to share it. Instead, we’re resharing our review of Harriet that we recorded in November 2019.We said it then, and we say it today, on what would have been Breyonna Taylor's 27th birthday;“The themes in this film, detailing the ten year period of [Harriet’s] life that sparked her lifelong fight for abolition and civil rights during the antebellum era and beyond, STILL connect to current conversations on race and civil rights today in America today. This film couldn’t have been more timely.” We hope you listen. We hope you watch. We hope you learn and we hope that you demand and fight for change. #BlackLivesMatterRating: 5 glassesMusic: BirocraticOriginal Recording Date: Nov. 22, 2019
