Description

Talking with real people about real faith in a real God. On What's Your Story you will hear women of faith having conversations about the good and bad life stuff in a non-judgy, non-churchy way as we all try to figure it out. We hope this will be a place you will feel welcome and will hear honest questions about honest struggles many of us face. Hannah Conway is an author of Christian fiction, a speaker and a women's ministry director in her local church. Stephani Cook is a former school psychologist, relationship coach and speaker who helps others improve personal and professional relationships, choose purpose and discover abundant living. Both feel called to minister to women and to help lead them to living in freedom and authenticity as the person God created them to be. On What's Your Story, we'll laugh a lot, may sometimes cry, but will always love because He first loved us.

On today’s episode, in anticipation of Thanksgiving, Hannah and Stephani take the opportunity to reflect on 2021 and to share some dreams God has planted on their hearts for the future. We had such a great time sharing together and we wanted to give you the opportunity to reflect on some of the same questions we asked one another. So we created a fun PDF that so you too can reflect and give thanks for what God has done in your life this year and maybe even use it as a conversation starter around  your own Thanksgiving table. You can download that here:https://www.stephanicook.org/_files/ugd/ce71ea_2495572c611743db88a26b61fd4007c3.pdfFollow What's Your Story on InstagramHannah Conway is a Lifeway author, a speaker and a women's ministry director in her local church. MomLife began in the fall of 2017 with two moms—Melanie Hill and Christy Crosby—and a team of some fun and creative friends. They had a simple and clear vision in mind: to see groups of moms in all ages and stages connect to God and each other through community. Understanding that being a mom can feel isolating and lonely, they wanted to create a safe space for moms to come together and be seen, cared for, loved, and spurred on in their faith in Christ and who he has created them to be. After four years in its founding church (Grace Community Church in Clarksville, TN), Melanie and Christy saw the need to expand MomLife. They wanted to reach moms outside of their church,  community, and beyond. In the spring of 2021, Melanie decided to launch MomLife Ministries, and she hopes it’s a helpful tool for both churches and individual moms who want to gather with groups of friends to talk about life, faith, and how the two deeply interact. MomLife Ministries is here to provide teachings, training, ideas, resources, and tools that are adaptable to any group of moms—be it in a home setting, coffee shop, or large church gathering. The first steps in building connections often feel awkward and challenging, so we hope to make it a little easier.MomLife Ministries is fully led by volunteers who are passionate about loving on and serving other mommas. To connect with MomLife Ministries visit https://www.momlife.orgHannah Conway is an author of Christian fiction, a speaker and a women's ministry director in her local church. During the On Purpose Live event last month, Stephani had the privilege of sharing in a panel discussion with her small group around the idea of community. We can likely all agree that the pandemic has taken its toll on our ability to engage in community in the way we once might have and loneliness and depression are at an all time high. We hope that this discussion gives you some ideas about where to find your own community or makes you smile in gratitude for the one or ones you already have. So enjoy this week's episode of What’s your story all about an On Purpose community featuring Rebecca Artis, Kay Rye, Janya Barnes, Krystin Howard, Carolyn Spencer and Dawn Carter.  To follow What’s Your Story on Instagram visit http://www.instagram.com/whatsyourstory.podcastTo connect with Hannah visit http://www.hannahrconway.comTo connect with Stephani or to take her FREE Enneagram assessment visit http://www.stephanicook.orgCover photo by Alison Weakley PhotographyBackground music by Scott HolmesSupport the show (HTTPS://www.buymeacoffee.com/wyspodcast)

In 2011, out of nowhere, Robin suffered a seizure briefly paralyzing her on her right side. After an ambulance ride to the hospital, the doctors discovered a huge tumor on her brain and gave her ten days to put her affairs in order.
