The podcast focuses on the value of complexity and connection in all forms of relationships. Episodes will be a variety of dialogue between hosts, interviews and Q&A. This week we had the honor of being in conversation with Jasiri X. He is a hip-hop artist and activist who gained national notoriety for his song, "Free the Jena 6." He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Robert Rauschenberg Award. In addition to creating music, Jasiri is the co-founder of 1Hood Media , a collective of socially conscious artists and activists who utilize art to raise awareness of issues impacting marginalized communities. During our conversation, we talked with Jasiri about the relationship between his passion in music, and his existence as a Black man in this country. 
This week we had the honor and privilege of being in conversation with Dr. Melody Brown. Dr. Brown is a licensed marriage and family therapist, as well as a gifted and well-respected clinician, professor, public speaker and consultant. During our conversation, we talked with Dr. Brown about the relationship between her passion of teaching in higher education and her existence as a Black woman in this country.
This week we had the honor and privilege of being in conversation with @vanessalgerman. Vanessa is a world renowned sculptor, painter, writer, activist, performer, and poet. Her work has been featured in a wide range of galleries, museums and traveling exhibits all around the world. During our conversation, we talked with Vanessa about the relationship between her art and her existence as a Black woman in this country.

This week we had the honor and privilege of interviewing Mr. Shelby Gamble. Mr. Gamble is an author, playwright and filmmaker. He has written several plays and novels, and has produced and directed numerous short films featured at film festivals all across the country. During this interview, we talk with Mr. Gamble about his experiences balancing working with the public during a worldwide pandemic and existing as a Black man in the United States. 
This week we had the honor and privilege of interviewing Dr. Maria Dominguez. Dr. Dominguez is the owner of Resilient Living, LLC. She is a bilingual and multicultural Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Life Coach. Her work focuses on cultivating resilience and using it as a tool of empowerment within each client to guide them in transforming their own mindsets, emotions, and relationships. During this interview, we talk with Dr. Dominguez about her experiences being multiracial and bilingual, learning to survive in multiple spaces, as well as how she is using her multicultural gifts with her clients.
DeMarquis and Una interview Tyree Jones, a police captain with the Hinds County Sheriff's Department in Mississippi. Tyree shares his thoughts on how police brutality and the lack of justice in the justice system impacts both the Black community and Law Enforcement.
