Description

A podcast for people who want to have honest conversations, ask real questions, and wrestle with difficult answers. We desire to give voice to people who aren't always known in the most "streamlined" versions of Christianity or who are making a genuine impact in their sphere of influence who maybe don't have the national or worldwide platform. When we live our faith on the fringes, it isn't always safe, neat, or tidy. Simply stated...this is a podcast where faith, culture, theology, and honest conversation all come together to shape us, form us, and stretch us.

In this episode of Faith on the Fringes, Seth talks about leaving the dualistic mentality of Christianity having to be either religion or relationship and how we should embrace it being both/and. We take a quick look on the subject biblically, historically, culturally, logically and definitionally. What are the distinctions that need to be made? What is the purpose of the Christian religion? How did this debate start? We look at the common phrases people use to pit religion and relationship against one another and how to respond to them.Connect with Seth:Twitter | @sethricequotesInstagram | @seth_riceIf you enjoy the podcast, be sure to subscribe, rate, and review!
