I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as…   Why does it feel like we are putting eggs in everything?  Plus…the way we wear our shoes, should we be swapping them out daily?   I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support.

Written during a period of escalating global conflict, environmental strain, and existential uncertainty, the book approaches peace as a spiritual and evolutionary imperative. Callison argues that humanity’s reliance on violence arises from fear, separation, and a misunderstanding of our shared nature—and that peace emerges naturally when individuals reconnect with compassion, responsibility, and inner awareness.Blending spiritual reflection with decades of research, Callison explores how fear becomes embedded in collective belief systems and how societies externalize that fear through conflict, dominance, and control. He challenges the assumption that violence is an inevitable part of the human condition, proposing instead that it is a temporary phase in humanity’s spiritual development—one that can be transcended through conscious choice.Across 27 reflective chapters, The Way to World Peace invites readers to examine the inner origins of war: the ego, the illusion of separation, and the belief in scarcity and threat. Drawing on universal spiritual principles shared across religions and traditions - interconnection, compassion, forgiveness, and responsibility - the book frames peace not as idealism, but as alignment with humanity’s deeper nature.Although Callison is widely known as the founder of Allied Beauty Experts, his life’s work has long centered on humanity’s spiritual future. In the 1980s and 1990s, he conducted a nationally published survey on nuclear war cited by Carl Sagan, deepening his conviction that humanity’s greatest threat is not external forces, but unresolved fear within the collective soul. The book also serves as the philosophical foundation for A Time for Humanity™, a nonprofit organization devoted to advancing global peace and demilitarization through education, inner awareness, and collective action.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support.

It's taken literally years! I have had so many versions that have had different hooks or vibes and they just didn't feel right, then finally writing my 1st album, I sat down at my piano and the song just fell into place. The song is all about sharing whatever you have with the most special person in the world.”Galea started songwriting when he was 13 after winning a UK National Songwriting Contest with his track “I Am Not An Angel.” Following that win he started writing for artists such as Lao Ra (Jesus Made Me Bad), Thea Garrett (Frontline) & Gianluca Bezzina (Come Float Away) and more!  Around this time his track “Trendsetter” was synced on US TV. Galea has also toured the UK supporting the likes of McFly and Boyzlife, as well as performing on the main stage for London Pride, Birmingham Pride, Northern Pride, Norwich Pride, as well as the main stage on festivals like The Sundown Festival and more. Stay tuned to Galea’s social pages below for more updates on future releases as he gets ready to release his next project.# # #Connect with John Galea: WEBSITE | INSTAGRAM | SPOTIFY | TIKTOK Press Contacts:Brad Taylor    Big Machine Agency  brad@bigmachineagency.com  Maya BlakemoreBig Machine Agency            maya@bigmachineagency.com Meijin BruttomessoBig Machine Agency  meijinb@bigmachinemedia.comView email in browserBig Machine Agency · 22 E 36th St Ste 8A · New York, NY 10016-3419 · USAupdate your preferences or unsubscribeCan you do March 13th ?   Lets say NOON EST ?  Will you send a zoom link? Show quoted textShow quoted textAbsolutely!  So grateful!!!!Hide quoted textOn Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 7:08 PM Brad Taylor wrote:Can you do March 13th ?   Lets say NOON EST ?  Will you send a zoom link?     Brad Taylor | Co-Founder and CEOBig Machine AgencyNYC • LONDONe: brad@bigmachineagency.comw: www.bigmachineagency.comp: +1 646.427.5476  On Wed, Mar 4, 2026 at 10:42 AM arroe M'e wrote:Zoom is fantastic.  I'm in Charlotte.  I can bend around your schedule.  How about the 13th of March? On Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 10:40 AM Brad Taylor wrote:do you set up a zoom?  what are timings can you do?  Where are you based?  Obviously John is in London so the earlier in the day EST is better.  Brad     Brad Taylor | Co-Founder and CEOBig Machine AgencyNYC • LONDONe: brad@bigmachineagency.comw: www.bigmachineagency.comp: +1 646.427.5476  On Wed, Mar 4, 2026 at 10:38 AM arroe M'e wrote:That would be an amazing experience for listeners.  Grateful! On Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 10:23 AM Brad Taylor wrote:ok do you want an interview with John?     Brad Taylor | Co-Founder and CEOBig Machine AgencyNYC • LONDONe: brad@bigmachineagency.comw: www.bigmachineagency.comp: +1 646.427.5476  On Sun, Mar 1, 2026 at 9:07 AM arroe M'e wrote:iHeart Radios Unplugged and Totally Uncut View from the Writing Instrument and Like It's Live.  You've blessed my life with many conversations in the past due to my connection to helping all up and coming performers have a pleasant place to spread their wings as creative souls. A heartfelt, one-of-a-kind memoir chronicling the hilarious, absurd, and thought-provoking experiences of an American pursuing comedy in China, learning first-hand how humor does and doesn't translate-and whether laughter transcends borders."I marched onstage in a long robe beside my Shifu, under the curious eyes of a thousand Chinese comedy fans, armed only with a microphone and the goal to kill onstage or die trying. Over the speakers, the host shouted: "Welcome to the stage: Master Ding Guangquan and his American disciple, Ai Jie Xi!"When self-proclaimed American class clown Jesse Appell signed up to study Mandarin in high school, he never imagined that one day his name would be written into the traditional family tree of Chinese comedy. But when he first moves to Beijing to apprentice to the legendary Master Ding, a single show is all it takes for Jesse and his fellow comedy misfits to understand that book learning means bombing jokes. To truly get the big laughs, he realizes he needs to know everything, like how long the fuse is on a thirty-cent firework, what card games coal miners play over Chinese New Year, and why comedy writers in Shanghai sometimes sleep in heart-shaped beds. The result? Asking questions that might seem simple-if they weren't being asked by an American caught in the breakneck whirlwind of a rising China.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support.

In Weight Class: A Fighter’s Life-or-Death Battle with an Eating Disorder (Bite Like A Man; February 17, 2026), former Olympic boxer and professional champion Danny O’Connor delivers a searing, deeply personal memoir that confronts one of sport’s most overlooked crises: eating disorders in male athletes. From high school wrestling to the 2008 U.S. Olympic Boxing Team and a decade-long professional career, O’Connor lived in a world where extreme weight-cutting—starvation, dehydration, purging and physical collapse—was common practice. What began as discipline slowly became self-destruction, culminating in a public failure to make weight for a world title fight and a private medical emergency that nearly cost him his life. Told with unflinching honesty, Weight Class traces O’Connor’s 20-year battle with an eating disorder fought largely in silence—hidden from coaches, fans and even family. His story challenges the misconception that eating disorders are a “female issue” and exposes how weight-regulated sports can reinforce dangerous behaviors when education and early intervention are absent. More than a sports memoir, Weight Class is a powerful account of survival and recovery. O’Connor examines the physical, mental and emotional toll of life on the scale, while also documenting the long, difficult work of reclaiming health, identity and purpose beyond competition. For parents, coaches and athletes entering weight-class sports, Weight Class serves as a necessary warning. For the millions of men and women struggling with eating disorders in silence, it offers something rarer: recognition, understanding and hope.Since retiring from professional boxing, Danny has become a leading advocate for awareness of eating disorders among men and athletes worldwide.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support.
