Join us for a poignant episode as we dive into the profound significance of Forgiveness Sunday and the Rite of Forgiveness in the Orthodox Church, marking the beginning of Great Lent.  In a heartfelt announcement, I share my decision to depart from the podcast and social media for the duration of this sacred season, seeking introspection and spiritual renewal.  Throughout this episode, we explore the essence of forgiveness and repentance, key themes of Lent, through insightful articles by Fr. George Morelli. "Forgiveness: The Heart and Repentance" and "The Ethos of Lent" shed light on the transformative power of forgiveness and the spiritual ethos that defines this sacred period. As we embark on this Lenten journey, I also share the profound words of Kerry Patrick San Chirico in "Lenten Transformation," a reflection that resonates deeply with the spirit of this season.  Together, these resources provide a rich tapestry of understanding, guiding us towards a deeper connection with ourselves, each other, and the Orthodox Christian faith.  In the show notes, you'll find links to these enlightening articles, offering further exploration into the Lenten season and its significance in the Orthodox tradition.  May this period of reflection and repentance lead us towards the joyous celebration of Christ’s Resurrection and the continual resurrection in our own lives.  Join us on this transformative journey as we embrace forgiveness and seek renewal in the light of Pascha and Great Lent.~Become a Patreon Supporter!Patreon:  https://www.patreon.com/allaroundgrowth~Like & Follow on Social Media or connect via email!Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/allaroundgrowthInstagram:  https://www.instagram.com/allaroundgrowthEmail:  allaroundgrowth@gmail.comTelegram Group Chat: https://t.me/allaroundgrowthTwitter:  https://twitter.com/allaroundgrowthFacebook Community:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/allaroundgrowth~Discussion Links:Forgiveness (Cheese-Fare Sunday) - Intro Music via YouTubeGreat Lent and Holy PaschaForgiveness: The Heart and RepentanceThe Ethos of LentFasting and Great LentLenten TransformationThe Date of PaschaThe Historical Development of Holy Week Services In the Orthodox/Byzantine RiteBecome a Patreon of the Show! ➡️ patreon.com/allaroundgrowth

Note:  Please pardon the first 10 minutes of poor audio quality.  This is an episode from the road and the microphone was hidden underneath the seatbelt and I didn't realize it for the first 10 minutes or so.  Afterwards, the audio is just like it was from the old days on the road.~Join us as we delve into a thorough examination and introspection of the recent Medina County Freedom Cell Network meetup event. Centered around the pivotal theme "Your Journey, Your Growth: Forming Your Inner Cadre," participants had the opportunity to articulate their personal aspirations and share their experiences in cultivating Inner Cadres. With equal participation ensured through timed comments, reminiscent of our inaugural meeting in November, the evening fostered dynamic dialogue and mutual learning.  Beyond the structured discussions, attendees engaged in informal networking, fostering connections, and discussing the triumphs and challenges encountered in building like-minded collaborations. This event served as a platform for honing strategies to navigate obstacles on our collective path towards freedom.  In this podcast episode, we embark on a comprehensive after-action review, unpacking the key discussions, insights gleaned, and lessons assimilated from the gathering. From individual narratives to overarching themes, we'll dissect the broader implications of the Freedom Cell Network while delving into the specifics of Saturday's event. Our focus will be on examining our progress in forming inner cadres and understanding the significance of this focal point within the community.~Become a Patreon Supporter!Patreon:  https://www.patreon.com/allaroundgrowth ~Like & Follow on Social Media or connect via email!Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/allaroundgrowthInstagram:  https://www.instagram.com/allaroundgrowthEmail:  allaroundgrowth@gmail.comTelegram Group Chat: https://t.me/allaroundgrowthTwitter:  https://twitter.com/allaroundgrowthFacebook Community:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/allaroundgrowth~Discussion Links:The Freedom Cell NetworkFreedom Cell Network Video TrailerWhat is a Freedom Cell?Medina Odd FellowsFreedom Cell Manual (PDF)Freedom Cell Manual (working draft) - more detailsEpisode-298- Starting the Journey from Grasshopper to AntEpisode-148- Bug Out Planning and DocumentationBecome a Patreon of the Show! ➡️ patreon.com/allaroundgrowth

In this episode, we share the highlights of the recent gathering of the Medina County Freedom Cell Network that took place on Saturday, January 27th.  Freedom Cells, consisting of approximately 8 local individuals, operate in a decentralized manner to empower members through education, peaceful non-compliance, and the establishment of parallel institutions.  Our group in Medina has been convening monthly since November 2023, and in this episode, we share insights into our meetup events, their locations, activities, and a recap of the latest event.  Plus, get a sneak peek into what's planned for our upcoming February Meetup!  During the Saturday event, we conducted concise and informative presentations covering various preparedness topics, followed by an engaging Q&A session to delve deeper into the subjects discussed.  Adding to the excitement, we hosted a 50/50 raffle and gave away an EDC medical kit, as well as a knife sharpening kit, generously donated by our Patreon member Kyriaki. The episode concludes with a call to action for each member to establish their inner cadre, sharing progress or challenges at the next monthly meeting. I also take a moment to share my personal goals for the inner cadre, proposing the development of a bug-out plan and documentation package. Drawing inspiration from The Survival Podcast, I explore how and why such plans are crucial. A special shout-out to our Patreon supporters Wayne, Sean, Rachel, Kyriaki, and Brian!
