Ninteen people would die in what is still considered to be not the deadliest, but the worst tram disaster in history. The Doña Paz had a sister ship, and an American built predecessor. In this episode I will be talking about two ill fated Sulpicio Lines vessels. The first Doña Paz which sank in 1977 amidst heavy seas, and the Doña Paz's sister ship. In November 1913 a brutal storm would strike the Great Lakes, with multiple ships lost or heavily damaged, and over 250 killed, this remains the worst storm in the history of the Great Lakes.
