In this special extended episode of the Roaring Repeater, we welcome our guest, former NBA player and University of Wyoming Hall of Famer, the half-court alley-ooping Josh Davis. Next, we gave ourselves some extra time to dig in — really dig in — to Wyoming basketball. We get real about the Border War meltdown, coach Allen Edwards' puzzling statements afterward, and the condition of the program. Later, our 7220sports photographer DJ Johnson visits us to talk players to watch this spring in UW football, bringing his knowledge from Wyoming high school sports circles about our home-grown additions.

We also go over Bohl's words from last week about the Pokes' quarterback situation going into the spring. Finally, we catch up with our guest, former Wyoming nose tackle Chase Appleby. We finally return from a long holiday break (and sick leave) with stories of the Arizona Bowl, announcements of our Patreon launch, and plenty of Pokes news, talk and updates in our first episode of 2020.
We take a good hard look at a few of Wyoming's newest recruits from signing day. Our first guest joins us from Georgia, an expert on the Panthers who gives us the inside scoop on our Arizona-Bowl adversaries. While the team added some players, it also lost some this week. The big announcement came Sunday with Wyoming's bowl game destination, Wyoming sports history had a big weekend, but the Pokes basketball team is still hurting. We get into Arizona, the Panthers, hanging out with Fennis Dembo on Saturday before his jersey retirement, and give Allen Edwards a tip on a job opening. We also really need to work on our endings, so enjoy that train wreck.
This week, we talk about the big bowl game question, the regular season finale at Air Force, the Poke's quarterback situation and the upcoming return of hoops legend Fennis Dembo to the Double-A Dec. 7 to have his jersey retired. The Border War rivalry between the Wyoming Cowboys and Colorado State Rams has been raging for more than a century. No other week in the year gets Pokes fans more riled than "sheep week." In this week's episode, our hosts take us through the upcoming match-up in Laramie against CSU, analyze the football team's road ahead and behind, and even throw the glove down to a Rams podcast. The Wyoming Cowboys football team is working to move on after a cruel 20-17 overtime loss against Boise State on the road. The Pokes basketball squad is licking it's wounds and trying to find itself after a wolloping in South Carolina.
