this is a tough case and one of the most interesting I've heard. of course murder can never be condoned. I'll state that up front. but I'll tell you.... I've been madly in love with a woman before and she did this to me. like a semi truck with its headlights off in the dark it hit me. I had no idea she even wanted out of the marriage. it hurt so bad that a rage in me surfaced that I've never known. that i never believed possible. if it wasn't for my kids from a previous marriage supporting me, this could have been my story. I don't condon Stephen's actions. but I can tell you I imagined a scenario just like this in the deepest, darkest part of my brain. adultery, especially when it leads to a pregnancy is a horrible thing. and those two go off to have a happy family while you have to pick up the jigsaw puzzle of your life. no.... those two should be in prison too. there should be prison sentences for people who do this to someone. if you get a divorce and go your separate ways and then do this... that is a different story. but to do it this way should be punishable by encarceration. anyway, I'm new to your podcast and I'm now a huge fan. I actually found your podcast through another podcast that highlighted your BTK series. I really enjoy the way you present the cases. your voice and personality are fantastic. I'm excited to binge more of your stories. this is a very unique take on true crime and I'm addicted already. thank you for your channel.

Puyallup = Pew-AL-up. this pronunciation attempt has got to be the worst I've ever heard. took me multiple listens before I could figure out what you were attempting.Google it .... ! if you like crime junkie type dialog, you know .... those put downs and very biaswd review stype, you'll probably like this pod. I've now listened to a number these pod from different periods tobs we if there is/was improvement but to me, nope. it's not really worth the time when so many other good pods are available. can't even finish this one. disappointing as I liked the concept.

***** Love listening. I grew up near an Air Force base. I'm glad that you cover these situations. I was a teenager when the Hi Fi murders happened April 22, 1974 Ogden, UT. Even today I still think this I one of the worst murders that I have ever heard about.

I don't know why after commenting it took TWO years to even get the records, you place blame on the media for not getting the story right? do you think the police share info with the press? the press gets their info from sources. if no one is talking, including the police, they are limited.

woe. this guy WAS terrifying to me. The lack of emotion was most chilling. As always you explain all.those little things that pop up in my head so keep up the great work. This one is now up for the top three you have covered, which is BTK, the guy who decapitated his wifes new man, and now this one!!
