Episode 2: Detective Trapp finds a young woman’s body at a recycling plant. The investigation leads to the dangerous streets where the victim worked. Is her death connected to the disappearances of three other women?
Episode 3: After weeks of frustration, Anaheim detectives break a murder case wide open —and find it larger and stranger than anyone could have anticipated.
Episode 4: Detective Trapp comes face-to-face with a suspected serial killer during a harrowing 13 1/2-hour interview that tests all her skill and endurance. To win, she must trick her adversary.
Episode 5: A serial killer’s trial does not end the case for Detective Trapp. In its aftermath, she finds herself on a quest all her own.

When does the story pick up pace? I am on Ep 2 and it is a snooze fest.
A horrific story told with compassion and respect, great work! One thing I find incredibly sad is that this story was partly told because it's unusual. The fact that police had the time and resources to work and ultimately solve these crimes is statistically rare. How sad that other families who loose daughters/mothers/sisters to these types of crimes everyday are usually left wondering. The initial police reaction these mothers encountered is far more typical. This comment is not intended as a condemnation of police and other law enforcement. It's an opinion and an observation about the society we have all created, not a judgement.

LOVE this podcast!! Detective Trapp is such an inspiration! Not only in her career but also in her personal life, her openness with her infertility struggle has inspired me to open up about my own. I am currently struggling and it's emotional almost every day for me, listening to podcasts like these where someone so inspiring like Detective Trapp talla about their amazing and selfless career but also common struggles in their personal life helps me want to be more brave 💕
