this show sucks! it's probably why there aren't any more episodes nobody wanted to hear Ashley talk about things that didn't even have to do with the case more than half the time

I loved this podcast. I already know so much about the victims because Ashley and Britt did a whole episode about the burger chef murders on their crime junkie podcast. It was an interesting approach to see how the media influences a cold case. really enjoyed it.
so when do we get to the final?
10-41 has much more substance than what you hear throughout this podcast. I like Crime Junkie - but this falls short.
There was no content here. I struggled paying attention because there was no substance, nothing intriguing, so it was easy to tune out and forget it was on. There was a whole lot of talk about nothing. for example: "when people caught wind of what I was doing, people were upset. caused a lot of problems for the detective". WHO WHAT WHY? Who was upset, what were they upset about, and why? also, how did it cause problems? it seems the only problem was a different agency didn't want to be interviewed? This podcast was about nothing more than about scanning documents, one by one by one by one by one.
I think this was great! its nice to hear about why the investigators do what they do, all of the stress is piled on top plus the stress of time going by with no answers, not to mention the emotional rollercoaster they are dealing with by the fact that there are 4 children murdered and you have to relive every detail, every day. it takes a strong person to solve cold cases. I have no doubt that they are close! so proud to be a Hoosier! thank you for all the dedication to these families!

I am loving this podcast. A nice departure from Crime Junkie, which I love, but it's a cool offshoot. I could listen to Ashleu (and Brit) all day. Ashley, you have amazing storytelling skills and know just what to ask. Bravo girlfriend, well done as always!
case is definitely eerie. i enjoyed the first 2 episodes. after that i was lost. im new to listening to your podcasts and im intrigued. keep up the good work.
why the f&tyck is she talking about herself the public and struggles she had instead of the case. 50 % of these episodes is her stroking the cops dick and pleading her case. get a grip it's horrible listening to that bS over and over again. report the case don't repitively suck law enforcement dick and bitch about the challenges u faced over and over and over. we already listen to ads. ..we get it. WTF a serious comment at the end would have sufficed. everytime I get interested in the story here we go about your challenges! your lucky you have such a great career with little challenges that aren't positive. your dealing with murder people are gonna be offended. your also dealing with entertainment and money, people's dreams do what you do and your getting a big step up by public paid officials but I do think u earned it, regardless people are gonna bitch but we don't wanna hear about it. that's part of the job u and the cops got deal with that's definitely not what and why
When is episode 5?

I feel very let down. So much build-up for essentially nothing. Who the victims were was lost in what seemed like a "look at what I got to do" framework. I don't feel as if I got to "know" how the people involved felt or were being affected as progress was made. Too much commentary was focused on how podcasts and media can either help or hinder investors. And again, too much focus on "look at what I am doing" to help and avoid hindering. The content was vague, unfocused, and glossed over. Ashley is a good storyteller, but, in my opinion, there was no story being told.
Was not a fan of this series at all. Love Crime Junkie but each episode of this is 90% fluff.
The fresh new thing here is telling how media involvement and reinvigoration of cold cases by podcasting actually hurts police investigation... so tell me more about that. The thesis is that she’s doing something new with cops to help the investigation, but I’m left wondering exactly what that is.
