As it was said, the sanctions has very bad effects on individuals and not the regimes, as what we are seeing in Iran.

Sanctions against iran showed that this is not a suitable method to change government behavior. The only effect of sanction in Iran is to impoverish most of the people. For the American and Iranian politicians, the only thing that is not important is the situation of the Iranian people.

Unfortunately, wherever I hear the name of my country, I expect to hear something terrible about it. Although some officials believe that sanctions are not effective, the current awful economic conditions in Iran have proven that these sanctions have been very effective! We still live in Iran.🙄

Thank you for this amazing episode. I was particularly interested in the part which was related to expressions. Also, in my mother tongue, which is Persian language, there is a famous expression which is related to salt. That expression is when someone says, "SALT CONTAINER!" This expression is used to make fun of someone who has tried to say something funny, but when others hear it, and do not find it funny, they say this expression to tease that person, and show them that it was not funny at all.
