On this episode of Slice of Pi Podcasts, Bobby & Ian discuss the Ruskington Horror. From footsteps heard in the middle of the night to unexplained lights seen in abandoned buildings - Lincolnshire has its fair share of paranormal goings on.But, few have left their mark quite like the ominously titled "Ruskington Horror".Popularised by Richard Madeley, who did a TV programme on the terror in 1998, this apparition has been seen along the A15 for decades. The location does not make it unique, indeed there have been many ghostly sightings on the road running between Lincoln and Sleaford, including a phantom cyclist, a little girl in a pink gown and horses running along the road. However at the turn off for Ruskington, near Sleaford, these sightings are much more common, with multiple reports from people saying something was amiss.

On this episode of Slice of Pi Podcasts Bobby & Ian discuss about the conspiracy of Paul McCartney."Paul is dead" is an urban legend and conspiracy theory alleging that English musician Paul McCartney of the Beatles died on 9 November 1966 and was secretly replaced by a look-alike. The rumour began circulating around 1967, but grew in popularity after being reported on American college campuses in late 1969. Proponents based the theory on perceived clues found in Beatles songs and album covers. Clue-hunting proved infectious, and within a few weeks had become an international phenomenon.Want to contact the show?https://www.facebook.com/PiPodcastsEmail:sliceofpipodcasts@gmail.com

2021-05-1401:50:56

on this Podcast of https://www.sliceofpipodcasts.co.uk  Bobby & Ian discuss various Myths & Legends, from Slender Man, Hat man to the Shadow people of the World.Myth is a folklore genre consisting of narratives that play a fundamental role in a society, such as foundational tales or origin myths. The main characters in myths are usually not humans like gods, demigods, and supernatural figures. However, others also include humans, animals, or combinations in their classification of myth. Stories of everyday human beings, although often of leaders of some type, are usually contained in legends, as opposed to myths. Myths are sometimes distinguished from legends in that myths deal with gods, usually have no historical basis, and deal with a remote past in which the world was much more different than the present. You have any strange experiences , or have any ideas you want Bobby & Ian to discuss. Why not Contact the Show?https://www.facebook.com/PiPodcasts

Bob Lazar

2021-04-1401:36:21

On this episode of http://www.sliceofpipodcasts.co.uk Bobby & Ian discuss Bob Lazar.Bob Lazar claims he examined an alien craft that ran on an antimatter reactor powered by element 115, which at the time had not yet been synthesized. He also claims to have read US government briefing documents that described alien involvement in human affairs over the past 10,000 years. Lazar's claims resulted in bringing added public attention to Area 51 and fueling conspiracy theories surrounding its classified activities.Lazar has no evidence to support his core claim of alien technology. His story has been analyzed and rejected by skeptics and some ufologists. Universities from which he claims to hold degrees show no record of him, and supposed former workplaces have disavowed him. In 1990, he was convicted for his involvement in a prostitution ring and again in 2006 for selling illegal chemicals.contact the show:https://www.facebook.com/PiPodcasts

2021-03-1602:04:26

On this episode of Slice of Pi Podcasts, Bobby & Ian discuss the Cecil Hotel ( Los Angeles)In 2013, the Cecil (by then re-branded as the "Stay on Main" although still maintaining the original Hotel Cecil signs and painted advertisements on its exterior) became the focus of renewed attention when surveillance footage of a young Canadian student, Elisa Lam, behaving erratically in the hotel's elevator, went viral. The video depicts Lam repeatedly pressing the elevator's buttons, walking in and out of the elevator and possibly attempting to hide from someone. It was recorded shortly before her disappearance, then her naked body was subsequently discovered in a water supply cistern on the hotel roof, following complaints from residents of odd-tasting water and low pressure. How she got into the cistern remains a mystery. The Los Angeles County Coroner ruled her death accidental due to drowning, with bipolar disorder being a "significant" factor.

Bobby & Ian discuss the Oak Island  Mysteries.Oak Island has been a subject for treasure hunters ever since the late 1700s, with rumours that Captain Kidd's treasure was buried there. While there is little evidence to support what went on during the early excavations, stories began to be published and documented as early as 1856. Since that time there have been many theories that extend beyond that of Captain Kidd which include among others religious artifacts, manuscripts, and Marie Antoinette's jewels. The "treasure" has also been prone to criticism by those who have dismissed search areas as natural phenomena.

On this Episode of Slice Of Pi Podcasts. Bobby & Ian discuss Haunted Numbers & EVP Recordings. Do You Believe? We all know the rule of not picking up if an unrecognised number is calling you, but there seem to be phone numbers that could cause far worse damage if you call them.Within ghost hunting and parapsychology, electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are sounds found on electronic recordings that are interpreted as spirit voices that have been either unintentionally recorded or intentionally requested and recorded. Parapsychologist Konstantīns Raudive, who popularized the idea in the 1970s, described EVP as typically brief, usually the length of a word or short phrase.
On this episode of Slice of Pi Podcasts, Bobby & Ian discuss Cursed Objects & Haunted Dolls - Do You Believe? As of 2017, a market has arisen where consumers search for dolls that come with supposed paranormal phenomena. Movies about certain dolls, like Annabelle, have created a desire to explore claims of haunted dolls.  Such dolls bring with them a certain fascination that a regular doll does not, since "a haunted doll requires proof — or at least enough of a backstory that a prospective buyer can embrace the possibility of the supernatural". The dolls are typically sold by private users and can be found for sale on eBay, Amazon, Etsy and many other sites.  Sales listings are often accompanied by stories and claims detailing the background of the doll and claimed paranormal phenomena.  The value of such items for folklore researchers is considerable.
Do You Believe? On this first episode of Season 3 , Bobby & Ian discuss what is to come, what to expect and to see if there is any truth behind Ghosts & Hauntings.
