Coach Josef needs to get something off his chest.  It's time to take the annihilation over stimulation mindset off of its podium. In his experience as a personal fitness training, Josef has witnessed many people put themselves down because they believed their workout wasn't a good one.  Because they didn't have a visit from DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) or swam in pools of sweat, their belief is that the workout didn't count.  What they don't realize is that they did more for their bodies during that time than sitting on the couch. In Episode 35, Coach Josef is ringing the bell of enlightenment. It's time that we celebrate the workouts we do, regardless of the intensity or the sensations that follow days after.  Let's acknowledge what our bodies and minds can achieve and watch them climb the ladder of growth, one rung at a time.  --- ▼About Coach Josef ▼ Josef Serfaty is an In-Home Personal Trainer, Senior Tactical Fitness Instructor, and Mindset Coach. In this unscripted episode of The Mindfully Podcast, after leading a high intensity online group workout, I was inspired to celebrate the efforts of the class participants, who, on January 21, 2021, completed a feat that helped them discover a new potential, elevating the bar.   Have you ever completed 100 reps of an exercise in 23 minutes?  They did... 5 exercises, 100 reps each. As a coach, it's an honour to be a part of their experience, but I'm simply a lighthouse. They grabbed hold of the helm and navigated through a demanding workout. It was all them, I just guided them. Sometimes, we look for answers, externally, when all along, the answers is within us. On December 20, 2020, Josef joined the amazing Lawrence Biscontini and 20 other inspiring fitness professionals and influencers from around the world at the #FitnessWorks Global Virtual Town Hall, a 5-hour online event. For 15 minutes, they talked about holiday traditions, the state of fitness in our geographical regions, how we’ve adapted to this current season of life with the pandemic, resilience, and favourite holiday treats. Lawrence, Happiness Wellness Movement Coach and a fitness industry veteran, started the #FitnessWorks "stayvention" at the start of the pandemic to put a spotlight on how fitness professionals have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdowns.  Fit pros were offering their services for FREE, online, at the expense of their livelihoods for a long period of time.  This prompted fitness mentors to sound the alarm to remind personal trainers, instructors, and coaches alike to not devalue the investments they put in themselves to be among the best life transformers. The Holiday Edition of #FitnessWorks was the perfect event to end a year that saw the nurturing and growth of Josef's own “Speaking” journey. SEASON 2 IS OFFICIALLY HERE! After a 4-month pause, The Mindfully Resilience Podcast is back to bring you more impact, more hope, and an amplified dose of resilience.  The time away has reminded Josef that it's ok to take a break and he wants to remind you of that as well.   We believe that, in order to succeed, we cannot stop.  We've grown accustomed to an on-the-go way of life, mistaking "busy busy" for productive busy.  Sound familiar?  By not slowing down, we can do more harm than good. In this episode, Josef explores how taking a break can benefit your physical and mental health.  How it can nurture relationships with family, friends, and yourself.  How it fosters personal and professional growth and how it is the catalyst for creativity.  It doesn't hurt to have a little me-time. --- ▼About Coach Josef ▼ Josef Serfaty is an In-Home Personal Trainer, Senior Tactical Fitness Instructor, and Mindset Coach. On December 11, 2019, Josef's journey into podcasting took flight.  There were no expectations aside from the desire to coach people locally, and, slowly, around the world to be more mindfully resilient.  To impact at least one life.  Each episode was created with the vision to provide guidance to lead a healthier lifestyle, to be physically fitter, to have a stronger mindset, as well as an unbreakable belief in one's self. In the Season 1 Finale of The Mindfully Resilient Podcast, Josef shares his experience as a new podcaster and the lessons he has learned.  He also shares a highlight reel of some of the conversations with the awesome guests who joined him this season.
