Who are the Angels?

Who are the Angels?

2024-02-0826:02

Saint. Thomas Aquinas is so outstanding. The Lord has given him the ability to take very complex matters, such as the differences between animal, human and Angel, and break them down into logical, extremely understandable terms. He was particularly enraptured by Angels, as are we. He made a study of them. I have to believe he got a lot of help in his research from the Angels themselves, in the form of Angelic inspiration, or possibly by a direct line.We pray they will be as kind to us, as we try to explain their culture, and their role in Salvation History in general, and in our lives, more specifically. Strangely enough, it's easier to salute their power and accomplishments, than it is to actually explain them. However, we have an urgency to try. We want you to feel as strongly about them, as close to them as we do, and as in love with them as we are, so you can take advantage of the dominance the Lord has given them on our behalf. They're just waiting for you to ask them to use their strength for you. Sometimes, they don't even wait for you to ask. You know, when something wonderfully impossible has happened to you, it's usually the work of your Angels. If ever there was a time when we needed the Angels, it's now.Heavenly Army of Angels book and other Media on the AngelsWatch our videos free unlimitedUnlock over 100 of our audicbooks for pennies per month by becoming a Super Saints Patron Get the Details Support the show

The Life of Pope Pius IX

The Life of Pope Pius IX

2024-02-0601:04:25

Pope Pius IX. He was elected Pope at one of the most crucial periods in the history of the Church, and remained at the helm of the ship of the Church longer than any Pope before or since, 32 years. He is responsible for many great things during his papacy, including, but not limited to the Dogma of Papal Infallibility, the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, the short-lived Vatican I, and his ongoing battle against the elements who were out to destroy the Church, namely the beginnings of the New Age movement, and the liberals all over Europe, but especially Victor Emmanuel in Italy, who not only plotted to steal the papal lands, he ultimately forced our Pope to end his pontificate as a self-imposed prisoner inside the Vatican walls. These and many other attacks made against Pope Pius IX, lovingly called Pio Nonno, caused him much grief throughout his Papacy, but the Lord kept him in charge for for 32 years for a good reason; there was a job to be done! God knew Pius IX could get the job done!Browse our Popes CollectionSupport the show

There are many stories that can be told of a mysterious voice warning you of danger, of something or was it someone interfering in the knick of time. As we started to write this book on Angels, we found ourselves remembering incidents in our lives we had long forgotten. Could it be our Guardian Angels reminding us? Why not?Support the show
The Life of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux“If God grants my desires, my Heaven will be spent on earth until the end of time.  Yes, I will spend my Heaven doing good on earth....I will return!  I will come down!”Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is one of the most powerful Saints of the Twentieth Century.  We have never prayed for the intercession of another Saint who lived so close to our time.  She died in 1897 at the age of twenty four, and was canonized in 1925.  When she died, she was virtually unknown, even in her own Community.Within two years of her death, the power of her intercession began to be felt all over Europe.  Prayers and novenas were made to her for favors, which were answered in abundance, usually preceded by the reception of a flower.  She called herself the Little Flower of Jesus, a name which has remained with her until today.  The swiftness of time in which devotion to this Saint grew, would be called in secular terms, a phenomena.  We call it a Miracle. On March 15, 1907, Pope St. Pius X, in a private conversation, called her “The greatest Saint of modern times”. More about Saint Therese of LisieuxSaint Therese of Lisieux CollectionSupport the show

Founders sale 50% off https://bobandpennylord.storeOur Saint was born in the beautiful countryside of Verdu in Catalonia, Spain in or around 1581. There's not much known about his childhood, other than he was born of a distinguished old family of Catalonia. However, his family instilled in him the love of Jesus and the love of his fellow man. Otherwise, how could he possibly have dedicated his life to helping the poorest of the poor, the lowest of the low. From an early age, it was well known that he was destined to live his life for the Church. So when he was old enough, he was enrolled in the University of Barcelona.Support the show

The Crowning of Mary as Queen of Heaven and EarthThe CoronationBrowse our Rosary CollectionWhen we begin the Fifth Glorious Mystery, we use the title: "The Coronation of Our Lady as Queen of Heaven and Earth, of all the Angels and the Saints."  As far as we can recall, we have always prayed this mystery under the title, "Queen of all the Angels and the Saints."  But now that we think of it, we didn't really pray the Rosary much until we came back to the Church in 1975, and by that time, we were so in love with the Angels, and with their roles in our Church and our lives, we just naturally included them in this mysteryBrowse our Rosary CollectionSupport the show

Saint Clare of Assisi

Saint Clare of Assisi

Sister Moon to Brother SunSaint Clare of Assisi was the first female member of the Franciscan community. She fought against the whole Franciscan community, including popes, to maintain the original Rule of St. Francis. After his death, she spent the rest of her life caring for her ladies. She would not even die before her rule for the Poor Clares was approved by the Pope.Clare is a role model for all women in headship, not exclusively of the Church, but especially of the Church. She may very well have been placed on this earth to be a prototype for Superiors of Religious Communities, male and female, for centuries to come.Saint Clare could easily be the standard bearer for anyone who would lead a community of people, whether it be a Religious Community, as Superior, or a country, as President, Dictator, or King. And her philosophy was not new, or complicated. It was simple. "Love one another as I have loved you."Support the show
