This special episode of The Dream Citadel Evolution Show will be highlighting two fantastic artists that will appear this Friday, Nov 5th at Teavolve for "The eXperience". Brought to you by Ravolution Multimedia. Janice B: Born in Washington, D.C. and growing up in Forest Heights, Maryland, Janice B. has been singing and writing since she was a small child. “Words have always intrigued me. Their meaning, how they work and flow together, how you can sometimes say a whole lot with just a few of them,” she explains. She began her music career in 2002 when she wrote a song called “Never Be The Same” to music created by a co-worker, which they went on to record. Together the two formed the band Intuition. Intuition had a fairly successful five year run, playing venues around the Maryland/D.C. area like The Columbia Arts Festival and The Hard Rock Café at the Inner Harbor. Once Intuition disbanded, Janice continued as a solo performer. A chance meeting with Mo-Rece on MySpace and an opportunity to work with him as a sound engineer on a project led them to discover their unusually strong creative chemistry. “Stinkiface embraces diversity in music and this was one of the main things that convinced me that working with Mo was the right path to take,” Janice says. Janice B. sums it up this way -- “There's always gonna be a little of my soul in everything I create. ‘Music with soul’ is my mantra.” H. David :This awesome DC based singer has been ministering with his awesome vocals for years. His blend of soul and spiritual music has made him a respected go to artist in the DMV as a feature as well as back up singing for a wide variety of awesome artists like, Sol Edler, Kev. O, Tre Thomas and others.

Ana Temple Abram has been performing on stages since the age of four. Her first stage experience gave her a passion for theatre which she pursued heavily until age 18 when she discovered the power of her own voice and her own words. In 2003 Ana Temple Abram took to the stage not to bring breath and life to other people’s words but to her own. Temple has always used poetry as a outlet for her emotions which lends itself to a dynamic commentary on life through the eyes of a young woman who is only just now beginning to accept her power. She has been performing on stages in Baltimore since 2004 and since then has traveled with her art as far as Nicaragua where she taught and organized bilingual poetry nights for her students. Through her work with Poetry for the people of Baltimore she has had the opportunity to perform at The Baltimore museum of art, the Walters Art gallery, Reginald F. Lewis and the American visionary Art museum. Temple uses her poetry and art as a means of healing and connecting WITH the people. Temple has started her own nonprofit dedicated to giving youth a voice and an opportunity to heal through LAFFH (Love acceptance faith forgiveness and healing). Temple has released one spoken word CD entitled Speak-her Pray-her and is working on her sophomore album to be released soon. Temple has also harnessed her eternal childlike nature into a series of her own Children’s Books entitled Brown Baby Books to be released in fall of 2010. Temple loves people and believes in sharing each experience so that someone may find commonality and hope in her story. Temple has dealt with such issues as rape, love, family, abuse, and empowerment. Her message and story in contrast with her being is to serve as a testament of what God can really do.

Megan Livingston has been singing for most of her life and her singing is informed by, and closely related to, her dancing, speaking, writing, acting, cooking, knitting, studying, sewing, working, reading, joking, driving, brooding, teaching and most importantly, her loving. love is the central theme for this "always on" artist. love as it is desegregated from all things. Megan Livingston is a passionate believer in the idea that community art is a first step on the road to peace and would like to invite everyone on earth to be creative whenever they get the feeling to. Megan Livingston is bliss in human form.
YahZarah (born Dana Nicole Williams) is a classically trained R & B singer-songwriter based out of Durham, NC. Her stagename, a dedication to her grandmothers Yah and Sarah, roughly translates to ''Queen Mother is the brightest star'' in Arabic.Born and raised in Washington DC, YahZarah started singing at the age of 7 in her church choir. Her love for performance began after winning a youth talent search at the Kennedy Center at age 10. After years of honing her talent in churches, talent shows and local concerts, she entered high school at DC’s prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Upon graduation in 1997, she was accepted to North Carolina Central University in Durham on a full scholarship to the school’s jazz program. In 1998, she left NC Central and began touring as a background singer for Erykah Badu. While touring, YahZarah contributed background vocals and vocal arrangements to Badu's platinum-selling "Mama's Gun" LP. In 2001, she left the Mama's Gun tour and went on to pursue her solo career.
A emerging artist with an unapologetic vocal delivery, honest lyrics, and strong sense of melody, he is bringing reprieve to the sometimes stagnant air of the current elbow-to-elbow room in the music industry. And unlike some, he treads softly on topics of musical comparison - considered a breed of R&B, the Singer/Songwriter favors letting the music itself moderate any sentiments of association. The anticipated release of his second studio album in the Fall of 2010 will come on the heels of the national tour that will catapult Levine into the position of his cohorts; Janelle Monae, Ryan Leslie, and Wale. Kicking off the 12-city tour in Baltimore, MD on April 22 and arriving back to his homestead of Nashville, TN May 31...Darnell Levine is positioning himself as the ‘artist to watch’ in 2010.The latest single, “So Nice To Be Loved” is a laid back groove positioned atop a Caribbean inspired beat with guitars and pianos carrying the melody and Conga drums maintaining the rhythm. His R&B sound and jazz training make the tune the perfect first single and will set the tone for the tour. His uniquely confident voice and style is here to fulfill a demand in the music industry...the mixture of R&B, jazz, soul, blues, and hip hop. It is common place for Darnell to ‘scat’ and ‘boo bop’ through a track, followed by an emotion-filled ballad, and then rhythmically flow into his signature body/mouth percussion with the ‘swag’ of hip-hop and class of a R&B veteran.Darnell Levine has transcended into an excelled writer, performer, and musician. He has shared the stage with the likes of Mint Condition, Bilal, John Legend, Shelia E., and Lalah Hathaway. His music can be found on Music Choice TV and Yahoo Radio, as well as sold through Amazon and iTunes. Recently, Levine performed during the 2010 Grammy’s at Jamie Foxx’s FoxxHole Live in LA where his performance was simulcast live on Sirius Radio.
