I’m your host Allison Hardy and I’ve taken my 10+ years of online entrepreneurship experience and now help women create beautiful, heart-centered businesses, on their terms. Samantha Semans is the founder of Ten 10 Social. With a hunger for freedom in her own life and a clear understanding of the tireless work of small businesses, Samantha set out to build a business from the ground up.She fused her passions for shopping local, creativity, and serving others into Ten 10 Social. Not only does she enjoy the flexibility and newfound freedom for her family, but loves seeing other business owners’ dreams come to fruition.“Helping busy entrepreneurs unload the tasks they find time consuming and then being replenished by the aspects of their business they love most brings me so much joy.”, Samantha says.In her free time, Samantha can be found volunteering with her church, drinking a tad too much coffee (if that is even a thing), and happily raising her precious kiddos.TAKEAWAYS: + Recently Samantha moved across the country and her business didn’t miss a beat. How? Her systems. Her business thrives and lives on Dubsado, Click Up, systems, and automations.+ One of the biggest mistakes that Samantha sees when it comes to content is not speaking to your ideal client in your content. The images, the way you write/speak, what you’re talking about, all needs to geared towards your ideal client, and make you relatable. This develops a strong connection between you, your business, and your audience.+ Having a perfectly curated feed is actually detrimental to your business. It prevents us from showing up authentically on Instagram, and capping our creativity and connection.RESOURCES:To visit the blog post that accompanies this episode go here: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode228Follow Sam on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ten10social Snag the 34 Places to Promote Your Lead Magnet Guide: http://www.allisonhardy.com/34places CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review. You didn’t create a business to be “in it” all the time. You didn’t create a business to work 24/7 or to never take a day off.So why do so many of us fall into the trap of working after the kids go to sleep at night and working weekends?! Over the course of the last year I’ve figured out a way to work 4 days a week, doing the things that move the needle in my business, while cutting hours. And I am 100% certain it’s because I have a routine that I go through on Fridays that allow me to be fully present in my rest days, allow me the flexibility to work if I want to, and make it so I don’t have to think about my business until Monday morning. And for me, that’s freedom! I call it my Friday Wind Down Routine, and in today’s podcast episode I’m sharing with you exactly what this looks like for me, to inspire you to establish one in your business to set you and your business up for your well-deserved rest.Visit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to snag the 34 Places to Promote Your Lead Magnet Guide+ and to connect with Allison and the 6-Figure Mompreneur movementRESOURCES: To visit the blog post that accompanies this episode go here: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode227 Snag the 34 Places to Promote Your Lead Magnet Guide: http://www.allisonhardy.com/34places CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review. Molly Cahill is a social media marketer who teaches chiropractors, NDs, health coaches, and other holistic wellness pros how to market themselves using Instagram in less time (without obsessing over followers and likes!) through her signature program, Holistic Marketing Hub.After leaving a career in medical sales, Molly decided to combine her love of her two favorite things- all things health and holistic wellness + marketing and sales. Her unique approach isn't what you're likely used to hearing, and over the past two years, she has taught hundreds of students and clients to leverage Instagram for lead generation.Molly and her husband, a helicopter pilot in the USMC, live in Pensacola, Florida with their four--year-old, MJ.TAKEAWAYS:+ Molly’s point of view when it comes to Instagram is quality over quantity. Kiley Owen is a physician assistant by training, who has certification in lifestyle medicine. She has worked in the ER and hospital setting, and has also led intensive lifestyle medicine group programs. Kiley is the creator of makinghealthapriority.com, a blog that focuses on making healthy living enjoyable and sustainable.TAKEAWAYS: + Kiley’s super power is keeping health and wellness simple, streamlined, and easy to implement. + Kiley views one of the roles that we play in our homes is that of a healer. It’s our job to create an environment of health, and the best way to do that is lead by example. We are usually the ones driving the ship in our homes, and the success of our homes oftentimes depends on us. + When establishing goals that help us move closer to our health goals, Kiley helps her clients create a scorecard. The scorecard helps her clients see their progress, and focuses on the good habits that are being developed, instead of letting their bad days define their experience. + If we continue to not meet our goals, Kiley always encourages her clients to (1) change their routine to set themselves up for success and (2) re-evaluate expectations and if they are unrealistic.RESOURCES: To visit the blog post that accompanies this episode go here: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode220 Hang out with Kiley on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/making_health_a_priority Find and follow Kiley on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/makinghealthapriority Get on the waitlist for the next round of the Lead Generation Lab: http://www.allisonhardy.com/leadgenerationlabwaitlist CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review. On today’s 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast, I’m sharing a bit of my story/life that I don’t think I’ve shared before (or at least it’s been a looooong time!).Today I’m sharing my journey and struggle with creativity. You see, I used to teach college level art, and at 6 months pregnant with now 7-year-old Camden, I got laid off. And that started the beginning of a very long, complicated, and very arduous journey with creativity. And lately (after a very hard 2020 and start to 2021), I’ve been diving back into creative endeavors, as a way of connecting back to parts of myself that I miss. I miss getting lost in a drawing. On today’s episode I’m sharing more about creativity, allowing myself to create just to create, and how this is affecting how I’m approaching my business. Kristen Gennawey is an Etsy shop owner, living in Southern California with her husband and 4 year old daughter. After turning her Etsy Shop into a passive income machine, her passion is to help other creative and overwhelmed moms open their own Etsy shop that runs practically on auto-pilot. TAKEAWAYS: + Kristen’s super power in her business is developing, implementing, and scaling a passive, drop shipping Etsy shop, that runs for her in the background, where she doesn’t manage inventory, and helping other busy mompreneurs to do the same. + Kristen chose to lean into the Etsy platform because it’s already done for you. With other platforms to sell physical products, you have to build the website, integrate all of the platforms, and hook up the automations. Etsy does that work for you. And she doesn’t want the tech to be the reason that holds her clients back. + Managing your Etsy shop should take 5-10 minutes a day. And most of the work isn’t spent in the Etsy platform. It’s marketing your business on other platforms like Instagram, sending out a newsletter, and doing market research. + One of Kristen’s goals for her clients is to get their shop known as more than just an “Etsy shop”. She focuses a lot of her marketing on branding and client to store connection. Maggie Emerson is a healer, an intuitive life coach and an earring designer. Her work is about connecting her clients back to themselves while igniting their joy and their intuition. She is known for her magic and her ability to spark light and joy everywhere she goes. She loves to witness others continually step into the directions of their dreams and ignite possibilities that most see as impossible.Maggie creates gorgeous earrings, blogs, and facilitates individuals to listen to their inner wisdom unapologetically.TAKEAWAYS:+ Maggie’s super power in her business is her intuition and her body. She views her intuition as what she already knows, and her body is what tells her and helps her to move forward in big ways.+ One of Maggie’s ways of viewing her business isn’t from a place of “what do I need next?”, it’s from a place of “how can I make what I have better, by showing up in a different and more bold way?”. She says that that shift created massive change in the way she approaches and grows her business.+ The creation of the earrings is a meditative experience. Maggie describes the downloads she receives that help her to connect more fully to the creation process, the person it’s for, and what they need right in that moment. She also believes this pours into her coaching inside of Joy Activated.RESOURCES:To visit the blog post that accompanies this episode go here: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode217Join Maggie’s FREE Facebook Group, Embody: https://www.facebook.com/groups/embodywithmaggieHang out with Maggie on her website: www.maggie-emerson.comTo get on the waitlist for the Lead Generation Lab visit: http://www.allisonhardy.com/leadgenerationlabwaitlist CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review. It’s been one year since the world came to a standstill and shut down due to Coronavirus. This past year has been filled with so much loss.Loss of life.Loss of jobs.Loss of businesses.Loss of homes.Loss of relationships. And so if you’re feeling the weight of one year of a global pandemic, I see you and I feel you. I’m sending you a big virtual hug today. But what I also think that the past year has taught us and shown us is that there are some really awesome things in our lives. There are also some things that we no longer need and no longer need to maintain. And this goes for our businesses too. Our businesses have pivoted over and over again over the past year. Many of us have made massive moves to create a business that is more sustainable, in this very strange economy we are still continuing to navigate. So on today’s podcast, I’m sharing my three biggest business takeaways that I’ve navigated over the past year. And it is my hope that these three things will inspire you to make these moves inside of your business. Because when life happens and the world shuts down, our businesses can be the things that show up FOR us, when we need to show up for life.Visit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to get on the waitlist for the Lead Generation Lab (and get access to a backdoor offer for the Lab!)+ and to connect with Allison and the 6-figure mompreneur movementRESOURCES:To visit the blog post that accompanies this episode go here: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode216To get on the waitlist for the Lead Generation Lab visit: http://www.allisonhardy.com/leadgenerationlabwaitlist CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review. As an online entrepreneur it can seem like everyday there is a new, next, and greatest platform introduced. And yes early adopters get crazy visible, and yes it's a good idea to dive in, and yes the possibilities are endless........but is it a good idea for YOU? As a busy mompreneur, you have to know that when you add another layer into your lead generation strategy, it’s a smart move. Your time is short and you don’t have time to mess around with a strategy or platform that *might* work.So on today's podcast episode I'm chatting through when it is the right time for you to introduce a new platform into your business and how to know if it’s the right move for you and your business.Visit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to leverage your already existing platforms for lead generation through the 34 Places to Promote Your Lead Magnet Guide+ and to connect with Allison and the 6-figure mompreneur movementRESOURCES: Read the blog post that goes along with this episode: www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode214Leverage your already existing platforms fo lead generation (hellooooo free, organic email list growth!) by downloading the 34 Places to Promote Your Lead Magnet Guide: http://www.allisonhardy.com/34placesCONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review. Ania Norori serves fellow working moms along their motherhood journey. She understands the challenges that come along with having to juggle the ever changing dynamics of being an ambitious, high-achieving, career-oriented woman, who refuses to compromise on her ability to be the best spouse and mother. Ania guides her clients through establishing core pillars that make their foundation solid while also teaching techniques that help to navigate individual circumstances. Ania is passionate about this work because she has personally experienced the impact that it can have on the family unit and she is committed to helping others achieve a transformation too.TAKEAWAYS:+ Ania’s super power is helping women to untangle feelings and emotions around what is going on in our relationships. Often times, we forget that relationships take time, have their ups and downs, and are an ever-evolving thing. When it’s not working, we think that it’s time to end it or that we should cut that person off, when what’s really going on is the relationship is evolving. And that evolution is a good thing and needs to happen to facilitate growth.+ Ania’s starting point for her clients is the relationship they have with themselves. When you are in a toxic relationship with yourself, how are you supposed to have a loving and productive relationship with anyone else? + One of the key factors to developing a stronger relationship with yourself is having someone that you can open up to and share how you’re feeling. Sometimes it’s your spouse, a friend, a therapist, and/or a coach.RESOURCES:Read the blog post that goes along with this episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode213Connect with Ania over on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/aniaintuitionAre you ready to grow your email list organically? Nikki Kountouriotis is a self discovery coach to soul-inspired Supermoms. She helps over-committed mompreneurs break free from being their family’s task master and become spiritually awakened to a creative soulful life on their own terms. She’s gone from burnt out, living like a machine on autopilot, and overwhelmed, to unapologetically living a life of freedom and flow on her terms. Nikki is married to her high school sweetheart of 21 years. Together they have grown an empire of over a dozen successful companies since her early 20’s. They are raising two talented and spirited teen daughters. TAKEAWAYS:+ Nikki’s super power in her business is trusting her intuition. She says that when making decisions she taps into how her body feels. Even if it’s a scary decision, or outside of her comfort zone, her body still gives her a big “YES!”, knowing that there is probably going to be a bit of fear dripping in, and that’s ok too.+ Nikki’s SuperMom Recovery Framework helps her clients approach their day and parenting, from a freedom and flow. The pillars are establishing a morning routine, meditation, and boundaries around activities and headspace. + Yoga helped Nikki to dive into her spiritual side. What yoga did was calm down her mind, and allow her to focus on connecting her breath with her body. And while it wasn’t immediate at first, Nikki finally started to realize the importance of the mind body connection, which lead her to explore her spirituality, and now it’s a huge part of how she coaches her clients and how she’s arranged her daily life. Jessica Stong is passionate about helping women create a life that is full of joy and peace. While so many women are crushed by perpetual overwhelm, constant guilt, or even a lack of purpose, Jessica is on a mission to show them how to manage their brains and to truly feel their feelings. She equips women to overcome all of their self-created fear and build a life of intention.Jessica is the founder of Lives of Courage, a holistic coaching approach, which utilizes the most effective and proven coaching methods to overcome roadblocks and clear the path for personal success. Through Lives of Courage, Jessica has the privilege of working with women of different ages in distinctive life stages to change their lives through coaching. As part of her practice, she developed the psychological framework Cycle of Courage, which supports individual growth and development. As someone who has utilized these tools and walked through the Cycle of Courage herself, she can show you how it is done.TAKEAWAYS:+ Jessica says that our thoughts create our emotions, and our emotions drive our actions. So when we are feeling fear, we don’t need to push our fear down and avoid it, we need to acknowledge that it’s a part of us, but it doesn’t decide what our actions are. Courage is not just an emotion, it’s an action too.+ Thinking positively and speaking affirmations isn’t a logical way to create true change within your thoughts. In order to change the way you think, which changes your actions, you need to face your fears head on. As Jessica says, “You gotta name it to tame it.”+ Jessica teaches a technique she calls “ladder thoughts”. In order to reach our end goal, you have to map out pit stops along the way. So by creating a ladder of thoughts that each build on one another, it makes making the end goal a possibility. + One of Jessica’s ways that she coaches is by helping her clients feel their emotions, and then develop strategies to move through and past their feelings. Her motto is, “You have to feel it to heal it.” Instead of pushing your emotions down, she gives her clients strategies to process, cope, and then change the way they think about their emotions.RESOURCES:Read the blog post that goes along with this episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode209Follow Jessica on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livesofcourageFollow Jessica on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/livesofcourageVisit Jessica’s website: https://www.jessicastong.comListen to the Lives of Courage Podcast: https://www.jessicastong.com/podcastMake your Instagram Reel life a whole heck of a lot easier, more streamlined, and intentional by snagging a copy of the 60-Day Reels Content Calendar: http://www.allisonhardy.com/reelscontentcalendarLearn more about the Lead Generation Lab by getting on the waitlist for the next open cart period on February 1, 2021: http://www.allisonhardy.com/leadgenerationlabwaitlistCONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review.
