Today we get to hang out with Janet Grillo. At 52-years-old, her  life shattered as she entered a world that she never knew.  She was once an unsuspecting wife and mother who learned about her husband’s secret life after he mysteriously died.  To this day, she still questions whether his death was a suicide, assisted suicide, suggested suicide or murder. Janet uncovered alleged Mafia ties and multiple affairs with other women.  After falling into a deep depression with suicidal thoughts, she came to the realization that she needed to save herself from despair and hopelessness.  She realized that she was not alone and desires to help others get through their pain.  In her book “God Promised Me Wings to Fly: Life for Survivors After Suicide,” Janet motivates and encourages others to seek help to find their purpose in life, even when things seem hopeless.Follow the Brave Podcast SpotifyApple Podcasts YouTubeBuzzsproutGoogleStitcheriHeart RadioPandoraAmazon MusicFollow Janet and check out her latest books! LinkedInWebsiteVeterans Suicide AwarenessFacebookInstagramLet's shop! The Drifted Drum has apparel, gifts, and decor that are faith inspired and hand crafted by local artists in Tennessee.  See something you like?   Use the code "Brave" at checkout to receive 10% off your purchase.Do you LOVE bagels? His prognosis was poor and the family faced lifelong disability. Against all odds, Toran recovered. This experience led the Moranic family to start T3 Charities which was established with the primary purpose of providing a helping hand to families suffering hardships, as well as to spread hope and awareness regarding football related traumatic brain injuries. Against all odds, Cortney shows us that tragedy can really become a triumph. Cortney is a mom of two boys and currently lives in Missouri with her husband, Dave.In this episode, we discuss:Traumatic Brain InjuryCourageAdversityResilienceFollow the Brave  Podcast SpotifyApple Podcasts WebsiteBuzzsproutGoogleStitcheriHeart RadioLearn More about T3 Charities and their newest movie, Game ChangerWebsiteGame ChangerTwitterFacebookLet's shop! The Drifted Drum has apparel, gifts, and decor that are faith inspired and hand crafted by local artists in Tennessee.
