*eyeroll.........I guess we will just keep letting Hollywood make rapists rich then since this lady says cancel culture is bad cause the canceled person gets their feelings hurt
Thank you for inviting her again. I love you both so much.
it stiles me that this spike in popularity of diabetic drugs amongst the financial elite is coming on the heels of what (from my perspective) was the biggest global outrage over just the cost of insulin in the us compared to other countries. is this new fad normalizing high prices for these lifesaving drugs...AGAIN?
❤️❤️
really excited for this!
these two are my heroes!
I was waiting to hear what she weighs😭😅
Naama Kates Incel podcast is the best resource to understand this subject. Lots of misunderstanding and misappropriation in this episode :( .
was Virginia Wolf, Mrs Dalloway
I don’t normally listen to this show, but my god does Jameela always interrupt her guests? Just let Marina finish her sentence or say something before talking!
The analogy of wearing seatbelts won't make people more reckless drivers makes sense
I got she brings Mary Cain onto the show. I saw her YouTube video on how Nike shamed her body and ruined her chances of becoming the world's greatest runner when they recruited her onto their team
I've been on depression and anxiety meds since junior year of high school (I'm going to graduate with my B.A. in the fall). Thank you Jameela, for sharing your experiences and helping other people feel comfortable with what they need to do for themselves. I love you.
Love this x
Great episode, thank you! What are your thoughts on BMI alternatives?
Thank you so much for this amazing podcast and the incredible work being done by Josie Norton. We have now purchased all our Christmas gifts this year from the Choose Love store. I have NEVER felt better about shopping for Christmas gifts in my life. This podcast makes me feel like there is hope and love in the world, and that maybe some people really do give a fuck. ;) All my love to you Jameela xoxo
Wait. Dwayne The Rock Johnson is obese according to the BMI? That sounds very wrong. I just searched it up and YEAH he has a BMI of 34.3 which is technically obese
Oh that's such an interesting thing to think about. Why does a human body have to fit clothing when clothing comes in a variety of sizes for the express purpose of fitting different body sizes? you aren't going to demand that someone who's 5'3" fit a 5'10" person's dress. it's equally unreasonable to expect someone who's size 0 to fit in a size 10 dress and vice versa.
Very honest conversation, like always. However, I must point out that there have been many great and accurate depictions of mental health issues like the ones they described. I think they need to watch better stuff.
love this podcast but why does the music sound like a dying cow? 😂
