Here we go. Brass tacks folks! How are we genuinely grateful for our identity in Christ? We've heard it as a nut-shell phrase but how do we go about living out this identity and being grateful? What about when it's really hard and we just don't see it? Or it all just feels theoretical? We start by defining our terms and understanding why and how we've got here with our identity and hear from Professor Glynn Harrison and Author and speaker Karen Soole on our identity in Christ and how on earth we can be grateful for it. As ever, chit-chat and 'what does this feel like for you and me' with Rachel Redeemed and Jam Cary. We want our kids to be grateful, right? We keep telling them to say 'thank you'. But how do we make it a heartfelt habit, rather than just lip-service. The truth is that parents have to be grateful themselves! Being grateful doesn't come naturally? And when we are having a hard time at work and our boss is being a pain, it can feel a bit of a joke. How can we give thanks in those times? He's written a number of other titles and is Mission Champion for London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (Licc). Rachel also talks to Niv Lobo, the curate at Highfields Church in Southampton about being a Christian in 'Christian' work and things for those of us in 'boss-dom' should chew on as Christians.
