My Dad would have been 90yrs old this week; but sadly he passed away last year. With your indulgence, I want to share about 20 mins of an interview I did with my Dad before he passed. In addition, and as always, there is a comedy set...this week by my Dad's favorite comedian Pat Paulsen. There are historical and funny parts to this short interview, and some great Laughs with Mr. Paulsen...Thank-you for allowing me to share.
I was able to catch Larry Wilson who shares a joke and a funny short story of something that happened to him...enjoy this Bonus episode! A good way to preview Larry before the re-release of his interview. My way to say "Thanks" for listening.
Fun interview with a comic actor Bob Dubac who went another direction...after a decade as a road comic, he spent the next 12 years acting on soap operas and making TV appearances as a comic. Then he decided to take control and wrote/produced/starred in 3 different One man Shows. He uses Robert Dubac for his him! Search "Mans Intellect, An Oxymoron", "Book of Moron", and "Standup Jesus". Very unique history in comedy, listen and learn...Ha!
Here is a fun hour of standup entertainment taped LIVE back in late 1980. The club was new, the comics Ron Kenny and Robert Aquayo were the opening acts, and bring great standup comedy to the audience. you get to listen in some 40 years later...and the comedy still works!!So listen and enjoy as Ron & Robert entertain with Comedy, Laughs, and like you were there!
Another Wednesday Bonus Show featuring my good Friend from Florida, Bruce Smirnoff. he shares some funny observations about his neighborhoods over the years, and shares a bit that was one of our favorites. Short show, with plenty of Laughs!
A nice interview with Kelly Monteith, star of his own late 70's show for 6 years on the BBC, a writer/producer of TV shows, Movies, and more! Currently airing "Real Geezers of Beverly Hills-Adjacent", a show about an older comic...go figure. Very funny, and when you hear about his comedy path, you'll understand why he keeps going. From Strip clubs & Playboy mansion to BBC Star & Movie Producer...he has done it all!
Another great combination of acts combine for a strong show this week. First time on the podcast, Headliner from Lubbock Texas, Jack Mayberry warms us up. The Steve Bruner takes over and keep us laughing. To close, our third Headliner is that talent from Seattle, Kermit Apio. Together they make for almost 40 mins of solid Laughs... Enjoy!
Comic Jaz Kaner tells a quick TV story and then shares his favorite "Doggie bag" you can take Home. Enjoy!
Yes, all the way from her Home in Hochstadt Germany, Lois Bromfield talks with me about her career, comedy, Writing for TV, and moving overseas. Lois was one of the funniest comediennes  back in the 80's, working the road until she became one of the writers for the Rosanne TV Show. She went on to write for several other shows, so now listen to a terrific interview and comedy set with Lois Bromfield...enjoy!
Here is the audio version of my TV Show "Laughs" from 1987, which has three terrific comics and a song from John Pate. The comics are Ron Robertson from Texas, Jerry Miller who was from Sanoma Valley but worked locally, and Headliner Bob Dubac, a successful actor. At 26 mins, it move quickly and contacins funny material...Enjoy!
