Global beer consumption stood at approximately 188.79 million kiloliters in 2018, up 0.8% from the previous year, the first time in four years. Total beer consumption in China decreased by 2.0% year-on-year due to the maturing of consumer demand and saturation of the market. On the other hand, products in the mid to high price range have been strong due to increased individual spending arising from more wealthy people. In the United Kingdom, beer consumption increased significantly by 5.7% year-on-year due to the Soccer World Cup and good weather. In the Philippines, beer consumption increased by 8.8% year-on-year. Although the growth in individual spending slew down slightly due to a temporary acceleration of inflation from factors such as rice shortage arising from weather, consumption increased overall for the year with support from the generally favorable external environment such as a better income situation brought about by sustained economic growth. Praise the Lord all glory to God In the Name of Jesus Christ

The remains of what was once a prosperous Christian town that was destroyed by Persian forces about 1,400 years ago have been uncovered in northern Israel, archaeologists say.
The Byzantine rural settlement of Pi Metzuba in the Western Galilee seems to have met its end in the early seventh century when Persia invaded the region as part of its broader conflict with the Byzantine Empire.

Days after Hindu extremists in northern India marched in protest to file a false claim against a Christian mother, her government employer transferred her to a district more than 100 miles away, sources said.
Members of a Hindu-awakening movement in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh state on Wednesday (Feb. 13) staged a protest against conversions to Christianity that began at the headquarters of the Hindu Sanghatan, a coalition of Hindu extremist groups, and continued as they shouted angry slogans against Christians.
Led by their district secretary, Sandeep Sachdeva, they marched to the Baddi police station and filed a complaint against Archana Jaiswal, a state education board employee and former Hindu who put her faith in Christ. The complaint alleges that Jaiswal offered money for Hindus to convert.

Australian church leaders have raised objections to a potential vaccine under development over concerns it contains cell lines “from an electively aborted human fetus.”
The objections were sent in a letter to the prime minister, Scott Morrison, last week, cosigned by Catholic archbishop of Sydney Anthony Fisher, Anglican archbishop of Sydney Glenn Davies, and Greek Orthodox archbishop of Australia Makarios Griniezakis.
However, scientists say the development process is a proven method and church priorities should be on ensuring public health against the coronavirus.

In California, 12,000 people have gathered on the Capitol Grounds to worship God. The move was apparently illegal in California, but Sean Feucht, who held the service, says freedom of religion is a right that everyone should have, regardless of what State Officials have to say.Sean Feucht has been leading worship services across the country, but the one in California is especially important, considering some parts of California, like Los Angeles, have some of the most stringent government lockdowns in the country, CBS Sacramento reports.
In a tweet, the worship leader and pastor insisted that “God is not done with California." Feucht also noted that the official capitol police estimate said 12,000 people attended the revival event. The tweet included an aerial view of the event.

Jesus promised that signs and wonders would follow those who believe. Justin Brierley reports on how Christ's words are coming true in countries around the world today.
The story of baby Yasmin Gomes of Londrina, Brazil went viral last year. She stopped breathing shortly after she was born and, despite numerous attempts, the hospital staff were unable to resuscitate her. With no heartbeat or sign of oxygen in the body, a death certificate was issued by the doctor. A nurse placed the lifeless baby in a box on the altar of the hospital chapel.
Naturally, the family were devastated. But when Yasmin’s grandmother came to collect the tiny body, she received the shock of her life. The baby’s leg kicked, and then she opened her eyes. After being ‘dead’ for three hours, Yasmin went on to experience a full recovery. Yasmin’s parents gave her the name Victoria – ‘victory’ in Portuguese – saying, ‘There is no explaining miracles. They happen as God wants. There must be a higher purpose in all this.’ The doctor said he had ‘never witnessed anything like this in 20 years of medicine’.

Jesus Comforts the Disciples
1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Do let covid depression get you down

Bob Gimlin was a small town cowboy when his friend coaxed him into hunting the famous mythical creature 50 years ago. Today, as the legend of Bigfoot has grown, Gimlin is viewed by the community of believers around the country as something of a prophet.
For weeks in the fall of 1967, the cowboys rode from sunrise to sunset in search of the creature no one had ever captured on film. Two rodeo men from Washington’s apple country, they’d traveled to Northern California’s thick forest. They’d read headlines of unidentifiable footprints. The smaller cowboy was driven by a long obsession with the mythic beast known as Bigfoot; the other liked to see things for himself.
One late October afternoon near Bluff Creek, the men trundled on horseback, half a day’s ride from the nearest signs of civilization. The sun shone bright, lighting the leaves all around them in a grand finale of orange and red and yellow. Roger Patterson rode in front, pausing his quarter horse to point his lens toward the leaves, the film chattering inside his rented 16mm Cine Kodak camera. When he finished, he tucked the camera into his saddlebag, leaving the leather flap open.
Bob Gimlin brought up the rear. He rode a quarter horse, leading a pony loaded with supplies behind him.* Patterson navigated around a bend where a large tree had fallen and jammed up the nearby creek—its root system upturned and exposed, like blind fingers reaching for an anchor.

Every year, hordes of tourists descend on Grand Canyon to enjoy the natural beauty of this geological wonder. But many tourists hiking the popular Bright Angel Trail missed something very interesting—a series of fossilized footprints preserved in a boulder, lying next to the trail, that had broken off a cliff in the nearby Manakacha Formation. But in 2016, a geology professor hiking with his students noticed the footprints, and now research on these tracks has been released.

PORTLAND — So, which Rose City is it?
Is it the one that is now nationally infamous as the site — at press time for this newspaper — for nearly 100 consecutive evenings of protests, often riotous and violent, in the downtown core? And where now God’s Word has been publicly burned?
Or is it the one where thousands can gather — also in the downtown area — to offer praise and worship to God and ask for His divine intervention to bring peace to the city, region and nation? Based on widely publicized activities that took place this past month and garnered national attention, the city currently appears to be both.

But Pastor Begley believes these events are biblical and have precedence in the Bible.
The Prophet Elijah, for instance, was taken into heaven by a fiery whirlwind.
2 Kings 2:11 reads: "As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire with horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up into heaven in a whirlwind.
"As Elisha watched, he cried out, 'My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel!'
